Normally, when I see a Datsun 120Y, I do ask 120WHY but this time I ask... why not! QUOTE(GTR120WHY @ Jul 22 2008, 02:52 PM) I'm only allowed a maximum of 2.3L for street use ![]() I looked at buying your wheels a while back. I have Commodore pattern with ford brakes, but no way could i fit your rear wheels under my gaurds without major surgery. Car weighs in at 920Kg right? 2300cc x 1.2(forced induction penalty) and then divide the capacity by 3 to get the minimum kilograms the car must weigh or have they changed the rules? |

Original weight is 835kg and multiply by 2.75 for forced induction which equals 2296cc. |

Last time I checked 26 crank with pistons/rods gives you 2.4 Either way love it. Engines aren't my thing, but by memory the bores are a touch over 83mm and the head had alot of work done on it. It was at the builder for over 6 months. Don't know if it will work until i turn the key ![]() Some updated pics below of the diff sitting in to work out the position on the springs. QUOTE(DET20 @ Jul 22 2008, 08:00 PM) How did you manage to work with the difference in bore size? With a bit of tig here and a bit of tig there |

Last time I checked 26 crank with pistons/rods gives you 2.4 Either way love it. Stock crank with wider bore pistons would for for an RB22, not everybody needs a stroker. However, I would be worried with the valves hitting the bores cause there is going to be bugger all real estate between the valve and the deck... |
