Hey there guys....

Had a 1970 Vg Hardtop in my possession for a couple decades now... Had it stored in my container after
being ripped off from a bodybuilder a while back... car was being repainted and had been stripped fully.

I had it licensed till this May but let the rego lapse, Bloody mistake which I regret now...

I've piecing it back together now for my son and have just realised the Compliance plates missing, Cant locate
it as yet but it may magically appear once the builds back up.

My question is does anyone know how to decode my chassis number? Its not like the others I've seen
and not sure whats going on? I needed to build date for a modification approval but not sure how to work that one out,
Any helps appreciated.

Vin number is: V106H23260

I have cleaned up the mudguard and found Stamps V10, 6-H-23 and also the 260 but the V10 is confusing me??

The engine number too is a little off? Number 5160907253025 Not sure if this was the original? always thought it was
a factory 6 originally before a later conversion to a 318,,, Till I found the number 6 on the vin that is which I assume
makes it a factory V8?..

Thanks in advance,,,
