you could do a zaust without being loud, and go for suspension as these are pretty ballsy, but a big service like a 90k with a 105k will do it good, and a good clean out of the tb will make a big diff. |

QUOTE(got_speed @ Apr 30 2008, 07:09 PM) why would i want a rear wheel when i dont drift and cant drive turbo/ V8...thats the stupidest thing i've ever heard.. Magnas are bloody great cars. I've just sold my TH and there's heaps of mods you can do. Have a look at Aussie Magna Forums Aussie Magna you'll get heaps of help and no flaming. Good luck |

QUOTE(lo_rolla @ May 1 2008, 09:15 PM) Is it 6g72 or 6g74? 6g74's are surprisingly tough motors, they have a pretty sturdy main cap cradle and four bolt mains, decent enough conrods (nothing special) and normal pistons. There are a few things you can do, just like any other motor, which is getting it to breath better, K&N filter - CAI (cold air intake) either by enclosing the pod filter (if you have one) to opening up the panel filter housing (if you have panel filter). The throttle body can be enlarged slightly in any motor by getting it bored out and a butterfly to match. Good set of extractors and exhaust, if your on the P's you'll especially want it a bit quiter, so chuck in some extra mufflers. Get a major service done, coolant, oil and timing belt (if it's never been done) and advance the timing and use 98Octane fuel. Get some better suspension, a set of springs and some shocks, maybe some sway bars, it'll make the car feel better and look better. Maybe a new set of brake pads just to give it an all round better feeling. Good luck man. thanks man, i will look into doing that, |

Very tough engine, budget racing so not allowed to spend dollars, nearly 300k and then 65 race hours from stock, 24hr race next month and wouldnt mind a little more hp |
