Honda would have needed one hell of a driver then to make it even thinkable...

It's illegal on the street, but no where in this thread did he say it was a street car.... Would be retarded to lock it.
LOL you've obviously never driven a car with a locker if you don't know hwo it affects driveability.....

hell yeah, they teach u to drive petty quick tho, very impractical however,

i went the budget way of welding the sprinter for drifting and its also my daily, like ppl said shit turning cirle but then all u got to do is drop the clutch and that fixes that problem lol jks.
I like lookers cos i know what theyre going to do, diven a few lsd cars given that the lsd was a bit old but was a bit unpridictable sometimes but its watever you prefer.
i love lookers, all my cars have them.

lockers are unpredicable but are alot of fun, if there not welded proply they'll break, and they also tend to give a lot of understeer then over steer, take a bit of getting use too..

weld it as the pic shows, spray anti spatter on the crown wheel before doing so, and make sure its clean before puting back in or you'll fuk ya diff bearings,,,

just buy a mini spool champ way better then lsd at least u no its goin to spin two all the time i have had a locker in all my cars and i think there the go

only problem there is if you centre is a one piece, you'll have trouble finding a spool for it..

anyone who whinges about a spool is a weak bitch

they aren't anywhere near as bad to drive daily as everyone says they are

run decent tires with decent pressure in them and you will barely notice it, you WILL NOT notice it driving normally only when parking or at low speeds

It's pretty harsh on the 4 links and centre bearing also, well in my kesev it is..

when i test drove that car it hardly span of the line. i wouldnt want to be trashing it getting side ways.

and remember is has about 200,000 kms so the engine has seen better days.

i am pretty sure the exhust is defectable due to the shit welds and nosice

What sort of vehicle are you talking about welding the diff on?
Ive got a 9inch in my kingswood and I just added more shims so it binds tighter.

Ive seen DIY's for skyline's and silvia's for adding shims also - cost like $10-20 for new shims $80 for diff oil and your set. Why not give that a go before you lash out and 'weld anything/spend $700 or whatever on a 2way'...

skip skip goes the kangaroo diff

minispool are dope, welds are dope. 2 way is dope.

common misconception is that 2way dont skip... they do if they are tight.

spend >1k for same deal? me no think so laugh.gif

well i learnt some thing new i didnt know it was illegal-i am new to aussie i am from nz.

but how could they tell if it was welded with out taken it apart?
says the honda driver who does FWD hand brake drifts.
Who says i was going to do it? i was only asking.

p.s last time i checked bogans drive commo's, do you hate your self that much?

a) you just owned old mate honda driver

b) weld the diff if you want, drive it on the road if you want, realise its illegal and may void any insurance in the case of a claim, be more careful and drive to conditions and chances are the police wont find out by just pulling you over or seeing you go around a round about.

now this is sort of a question: if your going to get sideways with an open wheeler.. wouldnt the predictability that having a locked diff gives offset the negatives such as the occasional bounce chirp on slow full lock turns or a slightly larger turning circle?

stay cool guys, he was only asking.
