ok seen as there are so many sunny coast cruises on lately my friend and i went for an extremely bored drive around last night
and ended up at toowoomba, where we found a place called picnic point, there is loads of parking spots, play grounds for kids, bbq areas, lots of grass areas, over all was a nice spot, and a nice easy drive.

drive took us approx an hour and 1/2 and in my little bubble 1/2 a tank of gas there and back.

i would have got pics of the place but obviously it was to dark,

on the way there, along the side of the motorway is plenty of space for us to pull over for catch up points etc, its 2 lanes to people who want to go ahead and take photos or what ever can

alll in all i think it could make for an awesome day.

what do you think?

yep its has a park in the middle of basically a massive round about, which has parking on the side, and then a massive car park as well.

Another bonus with going to toowoomba, it has national park walk things though the place, for what we drove past (we didnt get out was to freaking cold) but it had quite a few things, not only that but we can cruise through town and have a look around,

funnything was at midnight in toowoomba there was 1 pub open and a 24 hour laundry mat.... other than that its pretty dead, but looks like it has some cool things to cruise around and look at ,
like the cobb&co museum, which i tried to look at last night but failed sad.gif

cobb & co has loads of parking aswell

why everyone always goes to the coast, then the weekend after my cruise is sunnycoast cruise, i was gunna organise it to go there but there is no point now to have 2 cruises to the same destination a week after each other, hence the completely different location biggrin.gif trust me though it will be a good day
