If they rang you and said he wasnt reliable... who are they???? and if that was the case wouldnt u tell him to come get his car , hope he pays for the work already done, if not get small claims onto him if possible and be done with him instead of going through this and harming the rep of your business, i mean people talk even if it isnt posted on the internet, tell 5 people they tell 5 people etc |

QUOTE(Bandit @ Apr 2 2008, 11:30 AM) the reason it may be sold at auction is so the owners of the business have control over it, i mean if i was forced to sell my car and pay back a business for work i didnt want done, i would sell it and go do a runner, or keep it change the plates and do a runner lol If he didn't want the work done - and they did it anyway rip out the parts you didn't ask for give them back give them the 2k, TOW TRUCK - See ya later mate simple. If I asked for something done on my car and I didn't approve anything else but what I wanted and I got a bill for it... I WOULD rip the shit out and take my car. Like non paying clients - We do work, you don't pay up or refuse to... im coming to get my property simple as that. |

Sounds like this is becoming a witch hunt what 4 other people? Show us the threads, dont perpetuate a possible lie I'm not on anyones side as I too have been fucked by a workshop before but I wont specifically mention any names. And have been fucked around by customers as well - People dont understand how expensive running a shop or a performance shop really is all the expensive shit isn't free and they dont get them that much cheaper than what they sell them for. Before anyone goes bad mouthing this company I think it would be wise for the other threads or links to be brought up so we can have some proof not just hear say |

They're still going to want payment for their labour etc.. Workshops need to do what is asked, no more, no less. If there is more to be done, the owner needs to be consulted before it goes ahead. I've heard so many times before where people take there car somewhere and the workshop take it upon themselves to do all this work that wasnt requested then expect payment for it. It's bullshit. |

QUOTE(SupraGirl_H8LOSN @ Apr 2 2008, 11:28 AM) i think one of the horror stories was not this shop though it was another one down the road... It all dosnt add up..would like to know who brought the car at auction and for how much? The owner should have got back something from the sale. Why couldnt the owner of the car be given the option to sell the car himself and then money paid to shop..there are more options then selling it at auction for 11k!!! You may find the car didn't actually go to auction as the car by the sounds would have got more money. The only way out of this is for the business to show the procedures and measures it used to resolve this like, 1. What ads were placed in what papers to enforce the use of the vehicle to recover outstandings. 2. Where and what date was the vehicle auctioned and who was the auctioneer who handled the auction. 3. What was the hammer down price that the vehicle sold for at auction. Sorry other posts were up b4 I finished this 1, We now know the car wasn't auctioned, Well according to an employee of the business NOT the business owner. |

If he has signed papers etc - Then why is he fighting it?? i dont understand.. to many holes in both stories IMO. and yes who owns the car now??? |

I totally agree on their work being expensive, however, the quality of the workmanship is VERY HIGH as I have seen with my own eyes. Not many other workshops in Brisbane can attest to that... You really do get what you pay for and if you expect to do something on the cheap, this workshop definitely isn't going to help you, until you fuck it up and ask them to fix it properly... |
