with the pano pic i just noticed if you crop everything out including trees and litrally leave just the lines in the sky it actually looks good wont make sense what the lines are but still just looks good.

EF lens sucks? It's the 100mm macro! Was considered to be one of the sharpest lenses Canon made! OVER the 180mm L macro!

swear i saw you at the gc compound on the weekend.
but then realised it couldnt have been you when he was using a sigma 70-200 mm and standing right next to the box taking photos. i was like wtf are you trying to take photos of? your way too close!!!

then i went and spoke to his mate, who told me he had been doing photography for 15 years and specialising in bmx photography. said he had covered plenty of bmx games and comps around aus and some internat.

i flicked through his camera, and was shocked to see all his photos were taken at iso 1600, f2.8 (i think it was) and 1/30th a second. every shot was blurry, like crazy blurry. i looked through 100 of 1100 photos and didnt find any good ones.

kinda felt sorry for him. or should i feel better about myself?
i mean, some of my photos are a little out of focus coz its darn hard to get a good focus lock in the dark with a 50 1.8 but nowhere near as bad as his.

Dude at work is actually going a beard in a month of a sitting since I wanted to take a picture of someone with a beard, we'll see how he goes at the end of April.
