When you see this you’ll be:

1) Sad for the fate of this poor blown Corvette and
2) Not as grateful as the driver for the roll cage doing its job perfectly!

Sure enough, like most videos like this, it happened in the USA.

To be exact, it happened during Street Drags during the Small Town Weekend Event in El Reno.

They had the public road close for this but there’s still a good reason as why launches should be on a strip and not a street!

But still.. THAT light pole never stood a chance!
