With a mitsubishi colt you can fit a Cordia Turbo motor (Cordia was based off a colt), the downside with this conversion is these engines are fairly old now and use old technology (throttle body injection). They are quite cheap though.

A 4G61 from an early GSR lancer (the non turbo one) can go in if you dont want a turbocharged car. Best going with a Cordia Turbo gearbox to handle the extra power.

4G63 non turbo from a GSR Galant or older Hyundai (yea thats right some Hyundais used natro 4G63's) will fit if using a Cordia turbo gearbox. A big 2L engine in a light colt will make more then enough power without needing to be turbocharged. a CAI and Exhaust would be all the mods needed.

4G63T from either VR4 Galant or Evo 1-3 will fit using a Cordia Turbo gearbox. There was one in Sydney that had this engine setup. You wont need any engine mods as Colt only weighs in at around 800-850kg so even a stock 140-something KW VR4 motor will fly in a Colt.

When using a Cordia Turbo gearbox the driveshafts have to be modified ( cut down i think if i remember right). Also fit the Cordia Turbo front brakes while your at it for better stopping power.

Cross breeding engine conversions for FWD cars would be a nightmare.

I have a 1985 mitsubishi colt that I personally fitted a 1985 mitsubishi cordia turbo engine in.
Still have it in the driveway and drive it every other weekend.
Easy swap over considering it's a front wheel drive conversation.
Eveything bolts straight up except left hand engine mount had to modify cordia mount. All other mounts are colt.
I still have original colt 4 speed gearbox in but have cordia clutch and flywheel that match up no problem.
Drive shafts from the colt match up perfect with cordia front rotors so easy front break up grade also done.
Biggest hassle was hooking up aftermarket ecu.

Ps, had to use original colt radiator cordia would not fit comfortably.

...once saw one drag at the Fast fours /Rotaries Jamboree Willowbank on the saturday night .Owner had done the 4g63 turbo transplant.( i recall the race caller)unsure of another details.
That was back in about 2001.. I would be looking into that. There are still cordias out there with VR4's in them...saw one up for sale not 2 weeks ago online.Have fun ...with a car like that ...do it once do it right.

hey mate my wife has got some pretty big bosoms, so if you wanna have a suck at night, you can come over to our place for some breastfeeding sessions. I have a big willy too, so you can have a lick as well if you want. Cheers mate.
