How could I pig out a wagon body? How do you join the different body bits together?

I used a hot glue gun that holly bought last week, works well i found so far and is good for repairing too and reinforcing crack's

I went past yee's today for a new pinion and i see they have the tamiya cc-01 fj-40 short wheel base landcruiser's in now and are only around $250 for the kit that includes a esc, stock motor and a led light kit not too bad realy but i think more of a light display and novelty realy. Im not sure how much hard off roading you could do like the axial trail truks could do but love the realistic look of the fj-40 and im sure you could get options and bigger wheels under it for a bit of fun.

It had just come in last week when I went in and they were quite excited about it.

I have two skyline bodies, a stock traxxas sedan body and a suburban body. What kind of mutant could I make with them.

that's bloody cheap. too cheap in fact. they are weak as piss straight out of the box but with a load of option parts and at least a set of 1.9 rims and tyres they might be ok.

I have just been checking some things on youtube and the crawler fourms and they are a prity good thing from what i can see for a scale offroader and with only a couple of mods are very good fun and are getting quite interested in one.

incubus
Post #2226

saved me $68 so it can take 2 weeks for all i care.

you able to be at on road by 6:30 next week ?

toyrota
Post #2228

For those prices you could just get the battries off tony and the servo form jaycar and not half to wait.
Not sure about what time i will be able to get there as im only able to get out early once a fortnight.

incubus
Post #2229

batteries aren't for the truck.

do jaycar have them servos ?

toyrota
Post #2230

Not the same and not sure if they are as good but there in 9kg and 13kg all metal geard that one sed it has a plastic gear in there some where as 4 are metal and 1 plastic internal gears.
Why have two differant battries for the truck and onroad just buy the one set and use for both they are the same voltage and miah raiting

why not ? the lipo chargers are cheap with that mob too. free freight = win too

toyrota
Post #2232

Get a charger but be carefull with getting lipo's as i dont know what is going on at the moment on importing them now that they are classed as a dangerous shipping item and will not be carried by some companies buy air [aus post] and may be returned buy customs depending where they get picked up here or over seas. thats why i havent been getting any from over there lateley. Hobbyking are opening up a whearhouse in australia soon so we should be able to get some good cheep lipo's there hopefully.

toyrota
Post #2233

They can go by road once they make it through customs so they should be able to still get to you but omfg it will fn take ages

incubus
Post #2234

Cars and parts arn't a problem and it depends on how they are packed, labled and if they get scanned and if they pick them up.

I dunno if I'll be out tonight. Didn't sleep too well last night and am struggling to stay awake today. Yeah, soft.
