I didn't do any quicker times but was quite happy with the times i got as my car was having problems and i haven't been out to the sprints since last feb. Can't wait to get back out there

I didn't see Pai Mei there either I wonder how his lap times were?

I found my times a little slow as well, however there was plenty of grip through turn 1 and only in the 4th session while stuffing around did I find the grip on turn 6. Managed an unofficial 66 flat in the 4th session going by the frames in my videos.

Also, is the owner of the white Silvia that was practicing his drifting in the 4th session here? I got a video of his spin

Pei Mei swapped his numbers around ...

Instead of doing 62.09 he was doing 62.9

Was down the bottom sharing a pit with Sexual Garlic and was thinking third session would of been brilliant for setting a pb as the ambient temperature had dropped but the track would of still being quiet hot from the days baking.

Yea, wouldnt of minded seeing the times for the 4th untimed session. Got a few laps in that were "nice and tidy", well not as messy as some of my others.

Anyone know how long till they put the results up on the QR website?

Ended up with a 68.1 and having to tow the car home. So not really impressed by the time or by having to tow the car home

Although it was a good day and I will be back out stronger than ever.

I ended up doing .5 a second faster, so was pretty chuffed about that. Made a slight adjustment to the rear suspension, and got a whole lot more grip through the front. I do need get a rear strut brace though

Wooo just got the car started after removing the fan belt. It seems alright. Will put on a thermo fan and new fan belt.

Was a well run day, allocated pits was a good idea.

First time out in the new car, silver EVO IX, as I've sold the WRX. The EVO is still stock, apart from DBA rotors up front, Hawk brake pads, a wheel allignment and RE55 tyres. I'll have an exhaust and a tune for the next one and hope to better the rexy's 58.48...

Simon's purple 180/S13 with the RB25 and big Garrett was making 370+ ponies at the rears and ran away from me on the straights. Simon said it was running on the "low" boost tune at 16 PSI as he was having some issues with coil packs. Bloody fast car and very effective rear spoiler giving him traction.

This year first 40 paid entries get allocated a pit, to "avoid pit rage" we were told. Pit numbersa are on the bollards to the front of the pits.

I know I'll never live down the brand switch, but I won't forgive Subaru for what they did to the MY08 WRX

I don't think he gets on the net too much, i asked if he was on ns.com and he said he has a log on but never really goes on it. What did you have to tell him? I had a good chat with him about his car (seeing as it was going faster than mine) its a DE motor with a 10psi turbo on it.... Very good setup hes got going.

as for the Allocated Pits, we can all sleep in now as they have now decided to allocate Pit bays to the First 40 Pre-entrants (paid). So if you show up on the day, don't expect a Pit (unless you have a mate to share with, thanks Evaded), even if you send in your form the day before, you might not be getting a Pit bay. They have done this because firstly you get less people showing up at 9am in the morning just so they can secure a pit bay (like i do all the time) and secondly just for organization reasons with the entry forms (they weren't allowing people to sign in until 11:00)

Its a great idea, just means more people get their entries in earlier and less work for them on the day. Also atleast youll know if you get a garage.

Better get my entries in for the rest of the year.

I couldnt have had a better day even if i got laid ..

Tore my personal best from 64.8 down to 62.9
Then had DMW Dave a pretty much the God of everything racing drive my car in the 4th session to tell me what needs to be fixed etc.
Then i got an errection
I should be back this year almost every saturday
The new changes for the season are great. less cars and much better plan for the pit allocation

See I understand the benefits, but then you've got the issue when you've got groups that prefer to be together (say for example, all the Alfa guys are friends and like to be together in the pits) - So then you've got to either start try to swap around with others, or get scattered around. *shrugs*

Ah well.
