just wondering where bouts you can get these radios from and how much they are??? are they legal to use in private cars??? anybody interested in selling these, let me know if they are?!!?!?!?!?! :!:

ok then, thanks for that, sounds like i'll get one soon, but one more questions for me cuz i'm not really up on these radios yet, how do they work???? :oops: do you like tell all your mates to turn into one specific cahnnel and then just talk through the handset or is there just one line open for all cars within a certain distance. can police hear what your sayin???and can u hear what the police are saying??? :?: |

I dont know what my UHF is its a uniden something but i can get a good 25km out of it. It wasnt that expensive but you cant program any other channels. I called dick smith and a few other places then went to my local auto elec and got one for $30 cheaper same one. so shop around. they are very useful. it would have saved me the price of it already. |

A good in car 5watter would give you that 25k range.. but a handheld doesn't do anywhere near that well when inside the car.. morelike 5 k's when inside the car.. which is still good enough for most purposes anyway.. |

ok so i bought my handheld uniden UFH radio. but i got a few questions. i've read the manual and it doens't really say all that much....so |
