Well isn't this thread a bunch of circle jerking. OP, you won't get a exemption for your FD, they take the factory power to weight specs into account when looking at the application and a FD is well over 125kw/tonne. With that being said I drove an fd on my p's and was fine, just don't drive like a retard or wrap it around a pole and you wont have any problems.

Woah woah woah... What the hell have I been missing out on? Hey man, I hope I see you on the street driving that car, so I can either...

a) call DOT, or
b) run you off the road, then
c) laugh at you whilst you are in the process of crashing, then
d) get some pie afterwards.

Man, todays youth is just so...... I don't think the character limit would support my comments. I just hope something bad doesn't happen to anyone else, because you will be the scum of the earth, and we all know who you are now.

A single vehicle accident would be humorous.
"BUT NYEHH PAYED 4 GRAND IN INSURANCE NYEHHH SO IT'S INSURED FIX MEH CAR HURR"

The car isn't insured for you to be driving it, kid. Please read those words and attempt to comprehend them.

Robertino, lets see if I can break it down into large ego wog terms, but in correct English..........

Yes, you can drive your RX7 on the road.

No, it will not be legal.

Yes, you can have the car insured, both the required CTP and full comprehensive if you so desire.

No, you will not be covered by said insurance in line above if you have an accident, your fault or not.

Reason being, you are or were driving a car that by definition of law you are not allowed to drive due to its high powered nature.

Know that, if you crash, your fault or not, any and all insurances will be void. Void meaning - not valid or legally binding.

Ergo, you will find yourself in an very actionable position with which you will have no recourse but to declare yourself at the very least, bankrupt and or face time in jail. This will be compounded even more if you injure someone other than yourself.

For example, your passenger(s) and any other participant involved in the accident.

This will, lead to criminal proceedings brought against you.

Including, damage of property, and personal injury which may include, permanent disability from loss of limbs or paralysation.

Your position then, will not be a very enviable one.

As stated earlier in this post, with your insurances being void because you chose to drive a car that is not allowed for your age and license class you will find yourself in a lot of financial trouble.

This may, flow on to your, mother and your father and your auntie and your uncle and your sister and your brother and cousins and their roommates and your bonified chaperones euh euh euh euh euh euh-euh-euh-euh-euh-euh.......sorry got carried away there.

What I was saying, driving that car could lead to more trouble than you or your immediate family can financially handle.

Therefore, don't act like the little douche you are portraying yourself to be here and sell the car and buy something that you can happily cruise in.

You said you don't like racing on the track, ok, but then turning around and saying that you like to cruise, the RX7 is not the car to cruise in.

In fact, you will race it more than cruise. RX7s are not meant to be cruised in, they are race bred, pure and simple, I should know, I own one.

Why don't you, buy a more sensible car that suits who you are, or at least appear to be, a BMW or similar.

Just my thoughts on the matter

Don't back up all the other posts on here by proving once again you reflect a huge ignorant ego and have between your ears a large void. Void meaning this time - a completely empty space.

Don't you love those words that have multiple meanings and uses.

Lots of Love and no, I don't like eating dicks, they can get caught between my teeth and that's a bastard

The frightening part from a OH&S point of view he is a sparky in the mines, from what he wrote in another post.
I cannot fathom with his spelling efforts, DILLIGAF attitude to rules, regulations and attitude to sensible advice, that he will have a long and prosperous career in the electrical field. He may become a slow blow, high resistance load.

I haven't been on boost for at least over a year and to see this post is golden lol.

My 2 cents, if the law wasn't brought in we wouldn't have these posts to make us laugh.

By the way I got my opens when I was 20 not 25.

I met a young rigger like this, after getting impaled on a few lengths of M12 rod seemed to give him the attitude adjustment he needed, I don't think the 11kv will be as forgiving.

When I worked for Norco,we had an electrician called Ken in our section,he was doing a new installation on the main office switchboard,(three story building).
When he went to flick the protective condom from one of the busbars, his screwdriver slipped, and caused a dead short between two phases,(the insulation on his electrical screwdriver was damaged from using it for other purposes),this in turn blew a hole in mounting plate the size of your hand, and he was showered, pointblank with molten switchboard. From that day onwards, his nickname became 'Ken tucky fried'

I was in charge of the section, and yes they were a funny mob to work with, that's how I got my nickname Shuffs (short for Shuffles),because I needed a hip replacement, had the replacement in 2000,but the name stuck. There was another guy there,he was white, but in the summer,he would tan black,so yep,he was known as Morton, his forte was to produce the most rancid farts at will,so you had to be on your toes, because one fart could clear a large building, and he loved it,when there was no escape route. oopsie.gif
