Yeah because they came out with an inline 6 to begin with :o its the exact same reason my EH isnt getting a dirty great V8 in it.

That actually made me LOL! how come the engine swap you are suggesting is any less offensive to putting a V8 into an LJ or whatever?? Who cares what gets put into what? Surely it is the right of the car owner to express themselves however they want?? We all have different ideas about what works.
Webby, I respect your reasoning for not putting a V8 into your EH, cause thats just how you roll...BUT, for me, if I ever owned one of those cars, it would HAVE to have a V8 in it! Im guessing you wont like what Im doing to my 1 owner HR windowless panelvan very much, lol!

I tell you what grinds my gears....bloody Holden commodores with Chevy badges on them!! WTF?? If your holdens are so good, why arent you proud to "fly the flag"?? Oh well, at least I get a laugh every time I see one I guess :hsdance:

i like the idea of a clevo in a hr , windsor would be easier though , you gunna have lots of holden owners asking how you got it to sound better than a 253 :)

Yeah, a Windsor would be a lot easier, but I never do things the easy way, lol! plus, I already own a 351 Clevo and they just sound so much tougher than a Windsor (I have one of those in my XR8). They also go a heap harder too :hsdance:

Because an RB26 and 2J is an inline/straight 6 much like the motors they came out with so its still a 6cyl LJ but with a little more go.

As for your HR just sell it to me. :) :D

lots of holdens with shiny paint jobs, looked past engine bays. interoir and suspension bushes..

a real hemi engine is a 392 or 426.... a 440 is just a big block dodge v8

Yeah but they are Jap, computer driven motors! About the ONLY thing they have in common with a Holden motor is that they have 6 cylinders!
Oh, and find me a 2 door Valiant or a Mach 1 Mustang, and Ill swap you for the panelvan, lol!

Tell me about it, took me 20minutes to get out of Redwood the other day :drool:

The other thing that drives me nuts of late is going into the car parks in town and people crawling so slow looking for the first park nearest the lift so they dont have to walk very far.

Get a bloody move on, the sign said there are 100+ spaces available so what does it matter if you park on the 1st floor or the 10th :thumbsup:
