LOL! Got a msg from a mate on christmas day just as i was getting bored, so ended up out at his place sighting it in so that was all good.

my bitch is people that dont understand merging lol

had a guy in a red coon today try and overtake me in a drag lane, but i didn't slow down to let him in, so he pushed in I had to go on the wrong side of the road so he didn't hit me, then he beeped and me and gave ME the finger because he didn't give way?? lol

(was a controlled slip lane, with line markings, so he definitely had to give way to me)

the transport site is about as upto date as a prostitutes VD check
plus tassie road rules seem to change more often than our primeminister
also, that sorta goes against the zip merge rule, where person in front gets right of way (the way i thought all merges had become)

I saw an ad on tv the other day which was meant to explain merging in that same situation, they specifically say "when there is no line markings" Fucked if i know what the difference is since all the slip lanes that your meant to zip merge in that i know of have lines!
To be honest though who the fuck doesn't know that the car in front has right of way? I personally reckon it's okay blazing up the lane and pulling in front of the car if there is a gap, however my personal rule is that if they need to brake or get of the accelerator then there isn't enough room for me to merge in!

i had my indicator on in my truck as i went to merge a small brown honda accord sped up and i couldnt stop in time, when i came within a whisker of hitting the armco railing i merged in and watched the brown accord owner look intop his mirror trying to see where i was , next time that happens i will be smashing the owner of the next car as i was infront of the brown accord , accidents happen when one person doesnt understand the road rules which states the vehicle infront has right of way and they must have the indicator going
it makes me wonder why people in tasmania have no patience on the roads , i think it reflects the road toll

[A large proportion of] Tasmanians just can't drive. Too easy to get your license here. I see regular excessive speeding, inability to drive to conditions, tailgating - you tell me how so many people rear end eachother on the Southern outlet Kingston bound? seriously- poor judgement, complete lack of car handling ability, inability to merge at all, tendency to forget how to stay in their lane and head on each other down the midlands, overtake dangerously...

You see this stuff everywhere, but you see it all the time here. Easily the worst drivers and worst condition fleet of cars in the country. So poor that the Indians and Chinese just blend in!

Found out today that my legacy is unregistered, even though I paid the rego when it was due on the 16th of December, then I look at my bank account today, notice I had a deposit from DIER, then check the online rego status of my car and find it unregistered??

WTF is going on here?

i noticed when i bpay'd mine just recently that they said partial payments wouldn't be accepted. Did you try and pay 6 months when the slip was for 12?

Na paid for 6 and was meant to be 6, but for some reason some Benny at DIER, when I sold my other Subaru they transferred it into the new owners name and then unregistered my car, so since the end of November I have been driving it with no rego, which means no insurance, MAIB etc

im sick of members rides, ive posted 2 on there so far and met with negativity straight away as with most vehicles that arent imports . i dont think ill bother posting my commodore up they seem to cop a lot of flack on there

Very close to her untill we were almost touching. She didn't move, gave it a rev to voice my impatience she still didn't move, I honked the horn she still didn't move ! so I chucked the shit and left her in a cloud of third gear powerburn smoke. gotta love poorly designed IRS
