5.75kg / kw aint too bad - i think from memory Silvia (s15) , wrx STi etc etc have mid to high 7kg / kw.

Power to weight is only half the equation tho - torque is more important than sheer horsepower. Little engines with big hairdryers on them dont tend to make massive amounts of torque tho i spose.

I would love to come at the very least to watch these grudge matches unfold, as i dont work that weekend.

how about we hire the track for the day with enough interest the costs wont be that much

i thought it was something like $1200 to hire the track for the day???????

anyone know how much to have a full track hire with times and officials etc

enough interest would work out better than lining up with 100 other cars.

That would be a sweet idea - if you had it hired, then maybe more boost members would go along, not having to line up with all the other cars and all. Maybe HSV should get in contact with his buddy Kyle from up in toowoomba here, we could organise some sort of cruise down for it. We got enough interest that time we had those 2 drag days at warwick and its only 1/8th mile, so i am sure a group would be keen to take on willowbank. ........ That is, if you wouldnt mind a Toowoomba Car Forum group mingle with you. It would keep the costs lower too if you had a reasonable sized group, and more matchups would be possible.

Something to think about i guess. If its say $1500 for the track, then if you had say 80 cars wanting a go it would make it nice and cheap, and make for some fun.
