So all you highlighted above was it uses both codes, funny that i all ready posted that above,

Turbo chargers and superchargers are also covered this code and may be installed in compliance with schedule B or LA3

Anyway im over it, he can lessen to you or me, his choice. I say he is fine with La3 and you say he is not this is going nowhere fast, I could give you my years of experience and you the same, and still we will end up with him making his own choice. Easiest way is go into the transport department and ask them, but you will be told La3 is fine.

That's correct. They are also covered in LA3.

But LA3 doesn't apply to this vehicle so therefore irrelevant.

He can listen to whoever he likes, that's correct.

I am basing my explanation on facts as opposed to your lack of understanding.

You're not the only one with experience doing this stuff you know... I just wonder who else you have given this false information to...

Look at the FACTS here in the table, the ONLY vehicle that is applicable for an LA3 code is MC. NA and NB
Those vehicles are Passenger vehicles without a chassis & Light commercial vehicles ONLY

It states in section two that vehicles that are of class MA and MB are NOT allowed under this code.
Those vehicles are Passenger vehicles (Sedans, station wagons etc)

It CLEARLY states that LA3 is NOT to be used for those vehicles.

I don't understand how someone can not grasp this.

Shane.. Back to my old pet hate of people with no grasp of English.. He spells 'listen' as 'lessen'. Do you honestly expect that kind of person to be able to grasp anything they read? Kudos for making this the most interesting thread on boost today though.

There's a reason I typed the word listen in bold on my last comment.

I do appreciate your input Twincam, I understand that this stuff is confusing and I shall look in to this sometime this week! You would think certain people in certain positions ( TMR inspectors/ roadworthy guys and even the engineer) could pick it up or at lease get it right in the first place. But it is Queensland and we do tend to have a "I don't care"/"she'll be right" attitude. But what ya'gonna do? Zip lol

It's the typical gov attitude.
