My buddy Mark Masons new real estate video, certainly out of the box marketing. At least for a house anyway.

Mad Mike to drive 6 rotor PPRE RX4 in Turbosmart Flying 500

Posted on September 11, 2013 by worldtimeattackchallenge

If you thought the “overload” could not get any better at WTAC, we are about to prove you very wrong.

That’s right, we can now confirm the absolutely insane, 6-rotor, peripherally ported RX4 from New Zealand-based rotary gurus PPRE has confirmed entry into the Turbosmart Flying 500 with fellow Kiwi rotary drift ace, “Mad” Mike Whiddet behind the wheel.

This engine set the internet forums ablaze when it debuted with a video of the “bespoke” 6B, 6-rotor engine as it was fired up on a stand in the Pulse Performance Racing Engineering workshop in the countryside of New Zealand and is believed to be the first of its kind in the world to actually run and find its way into a car.

And the car that it has found its way into is a road registered Mazda RX4 coupe. The RX4 is referred to by the PPRE head honcho Warren Overton as a “bit of a hotrod as it has some good bits in it but is essentially still a tough street car and carries NZ road registration. It is really all about showcasing the engine and letting the fans see, hear and experience it. It really is something else.”

“Through our association with Mad Mike and his 4 rotor drift car we decided he would be a better wheelman than anyone else so he has put his hand up to pedal it in Australia. We hear there are some real tough street cars in this event but we will have a crack. It will certainly create some attention as it has a sound like nothing else on earth.”

With October the 18th at Sydney Motorsport Park scheduled as the “official” competition debut of this absolutely insane machine we suggest there is no other place you would want to be than on the main straight of SMSP as one of the world’s most recognized rotary wheelmen opens all 6 throttles on what is unquestionably one of the world’s wildest rotary engine.

NSW graffiti laws to also outlaw hopscotch squares

ABCUpdated September 19, 2013, 12:18 pm

Young hopscotch aficionados could become unwitting criminals under proposed new anti-graffiti laws in New South Wales.

The new legislation, which has been introduced to the NSW Parliament, makes it an offence to intentionally mark any premises or other property without the permission of the owner.

Greens MP David Shoebridge says there is no requirement in the legislation for a mark to be permanent or difficult to remove.

He says that means it will technically outlaw things like chalk hopscotch squares or handball courts drawn on footpaths or bitumen.

"Unless the kids get the consent of the local council they're committing an offence," Mr Shoebridge said.

"This Government is going to be putting on the statute books laws that make it an offence not just for kids to chalk a hopscotch court on the footpath, but for Mr Stace to have chalked "Eternity" or for a street artist to put a rainbow crossing on the road.

"This will now all become criminal activity. If children get caught by police they'll be facing a $440 fine. Now that's just nonsense."

Attorney-General Greg Smith has downplayed the impact of the new legislation, while apparently acknowledging that drawing in chalk will technically be an offence.

He says police always have discretion about whether to lay charges, and he considers it unlikely they would charge children for chalking up hopscotch squares.

2013 Darwin Awards

Eighth Place

In Detroit, a 41-year-old man got stuck and drowned in two feet of water after squeezing head first through an 18-inch-wide sewer grate to retrieve his car keys.

Seventh Place

A 49-year-old San Francisco stockbroker, who "totally zoned when he ran", accidentally jogged off a 100-foot high cliff on his daily run.

Sixth Place

While at the beach, Daniel Jones, 21, dug an 8 foot hole for protection from the wind and had been sitting in a beach chair at the bottom, when it collapsed, burying him beneath 5 feet of sand. People on the beach used their hands and shovels trying to get him out but could not reach him. It took rescue workers using heavy equipment almost an hour to free him. Jones was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Fifth Place

Santiago Alvarado, 24, was killed as he fell through the ceiling of a bicycle shop he was burglarizing. Death was caused when the long flashlight he had placed in his mouth to keep his hands free rammed into the base of his skull as he hit the floor.

Fourth Place

Sylvester Briddell, Jr., 26, was killed as he won a bet with friends who said he would not put a revolver loaded with four bullets into his mouth and pull the trigger.

Third Place

After stepping around a marked police patrol car parked at the front door, a man walked into H&J Leather & Firearms intent on robbing the store. The
shop was full of customers and a uniformed officer was standing at the
counter. Upon seeing the officer, the would-be robber announced a hold-up and fired a few wild shots from a target pistol.

The officer and a clerk promptly returned fire, and several customers also drew their guns and fired. The robber was pronounced dead at the scene by
Paramedics. Crime scene investigators located 47 expended cartridge cases in the shop. The subsequent autopsy revealed 23 gunshot wounds. Ballistics
identified rounds from 7 different weapons. No one else was hurt.

HONORABLE MENTION

Paul Stiller, 47, and his wife Bonnie were bored just driving around at 2 A.M. so they lit a quarter stick of dynamite to toss out the window to see what would happen. Apparently they failed to notice that the window was closed.

RUNNER UP

Kerry Bingham had been drinking with several friends when one of them said they knew a person who had bungee-jumped from a local bridge in the middle of traffic. The conversation grew more excited, and at least 10 men trooped along the walkway of the bridge at 4:30 AM. Upon arrival at the midpoint of the bridge, they discovered that no one had brought a bungee rope. Bingham, who had continued drinking, volunteered and pointed out that a coil of lineman's cable lay nearby. They secured one end around Bingham's leg and then tied the other to the bridge. His fall lasted 40 feet before the cable tightened and tore his foot off at the ankle. He miraculously survived his fall into the icy water and was rescued by two nearby fishermen. Bingham's foot was never located.

AND THE WINNER IS....

Zookeeper Friedrich Riesfeldt ( Paderborn , Germany ) fed his constipated elephant 22 doses of animal laxative and more than a bushel of berries, figs and prunes before the plugged-up pachyderm finally got relief. Investigators say ill-fated Friedrich, 46, was attempting to give the ailing elephant an olive
oil enema when the relieved beast unloaded.

The sheer force of the elephant's unexpected defecation knocked Mr Riesfeldt to the ground where he struck his head on a rock as the elephant continued to evacuate 200 pounds of dung on top of him. It seems to be just one of those freak accidents that proves... '**** happens'

IT ALWAYS SEEMS IMPORTANT TO THANK THESE PEOPLE FOR REMOVING THEMSELVES FROM THE GENE POOL.

Devil's Breath - VICE Documentary

with this as back-up from wikipedia and the US State Department

Criminal use[edit source]

In 2008, Vice News aired an episode called Colombian Devil's Breath recounting the use of scopolamine by Colombian criminals as a suggestion drug. The two-part investigation contains multiple first-hand accounts of its use.[20]

Scopolamine is used criminally as a date rape drug and as an aid to robbery,[21] the most common act being the clandestine drugging of a victim's drink.[21] It is preferred because it induces anterograde amnesia, or an inability to recall events a certain amount of time after its administration or during the time of intoxication.[citation needed]
