You could also reduce the amount of negative camber, or put in some positive camber. If you are only going to be using the spacers at the track, I don't see a problem with it as long as you drive out on your other set of rims...

they'll probably just spacers on without telling you - lol
(thats what tyre shop did when my ex bought a tyre and wheel package for her old rolla)

lol i dont actually think spacers are dodgy - and the shop wasn't really dodgy either - think they just assumed we wouldn't know what spacers were and since they aren't legal figured its better if we didn't know lol

Not unless it's engineered into a brake conversion and is actually required for the brakes. Correct offset is your only option.

I hate shops that take that mentality. Then YOU'RE the one that gets screwed. I have no problem with "we could do this, it's not legal, but it's an option" and you agree to take the risk, but when you don't...dry.gif

yeah, didn't have to resort to blocks. the guys fiddled with the camber and toe a bit, plus i moved the oil line (derp) so it's all good now... i hope. i'll see on the 17th laugh.gif

I can't make it wednesday sprints... I am already taking the day off to do something else. I will be out for the saterday sprints though...actually I will make sure my car is working properly first.. so I mght not make it :/

Hoping to be out in time with the engine run in and tuned for Saturday sprints should be back from the workshop next week biggrin.gif

With any luck with a couple of other things as well biggrin.gif

If not I will beo ut in the new year with some new goodies hopefully biggrin.gif

doesnt look like ill make it sad.gif got an intermitant vac leak on decel which causes the car to jump....not gonna make it too fun while turning mid corner on decel and it happens...then the ass end of the car will overtake me

in brighter news, got my coilovers in on the weekend, real suspension now biggrin.gif

I won't be racing sat week... my car has a terrible miss. Its booked in to be looked at on the 3rd dec, so I don't want to risk any further damage (this car has to get me to sydney and back over xmas...). No doubt I will be out to watch though...

I is out for this Saturday. Might come out for a looksie but the car won't be run in and ready sad.gif Piston rings were wrong size so need to get them sent back down to Adelaide and replaced and the machinist didn't get the engine back in time for it to be built and run in sad.gif

Will be out next year though biggrin.gif
