ROCK ON R~R Are you talking about the Orange/Red Monaro that caught on fire? I was doing my cool down laps at the back of pits and saw him coming up the other lane with a huge fire under his car. I stopped, grabbed my extinguisher and ran across and some other guy stopped him. I emptied mine and the owners extinguishers before Doug turned up in the fire truck. My guess is a fuel line let go, started a fire, then the plastics bits caught on. I thought he was going to lose the whole thing cause it kept starting up again and normally the dash is the next to ignite, then the interior goes. The car was a big mess and the damage looked pretty expensive. Poor bloke. |

Poor bloke. were u in the light silver wrx in the same group as the dark silver wrx? and i think the supercharged manaro? cos u got it a tad sideways a few times if it was you. quick class that one. good to watch |

had a great day. my brother in law did a 67 on his first go, so that was a pretty good. I did another 65. My car is running a bid dodgy. I guess I have 3 weeks to get it right. Wednesday Sprints will be my next outing |
