For $250 listen to the JL 12w0-4, Alpine Type S and Hertz HS300. Have a read around the audio section at the fast fours forums for some good advice, some of Australia's top guys post there. |

One word of advice autobarn aint the best place to get subs from as the cant do much of a great deal JB HI-FI have an awesome deal on a pioneer 12" boxed for $289 at the moment but they might even do a betta price for ya go in and ask. |

im talkin just above cost price... say what you'd pay for a 12 inch sub, take 1/3 of the price off.... or more |

In agreeance with Shell on this one....my 15" MTXs haven't let me down yet....taking into account your budget, other brands worth consideration should entail Alpine or Pioneer although it must be said that $250 doesn't buy that much of a sub these days especially if you want it pre-boxed....maybe you could save a bit more initially & then consider your options then? Up to you at the end of the day so good luck with it all mate |
