Maybe you can answer Grump2... being the most experienced racer here (could be wrong I know guys ) i just checked the rule book and its 90db from 30m away.whch should be fine mate,i will be running no exhaust on the day and im sure mine will be way louder than yours with an exhaust so i would not worry about it. though grump2 u may be able to answer this for me...... in the rule book it says no exhaust should vent to the track surface.so the dump pipe cant point to the ground under the car.but i see them doin that at jambo every second car.by the rules it should vent to the side...eg side pipe style pipe comin out and venting outside the body. where do u point yours,to the ground or what? |

I would be really really really surprised if anyone is noise tested. In my experience most tracks besides WSID simply look to see if there is some form of muffling. If the officials ears start bleeding they may have a problem, but otherwise.... |
