PSI999 - you have to bring the ET along instead. I saw your name in the list and was hoping. I've watched the build up of that machine.....it would be awesome to see it out.

I'm really lookign forward to this, I need heaps of practise as I know the times are there to get.

I've just about secured myself a GTST so i'll likely be driving that instead of the GTR. It makes about the same power as my 180 did at the last drag day so hopefully i can get a 12 in this one instead of the 27 low 13s i did last time laugh.gif

Ok, I've noticed alot of people talking about "beating" eachother down the quarter and its good to see how enthusiastic we all are about it. Unfortunately being the quickest car makes no difference.

How the racing system works

You line up to race and dial in a time, e.g 12.45

The rules are,

1. You cant exceed the time you dialled in
2. You cannot jump the Mark

The goal being to get as close to the time you dialled in as physically possible.

which means; it's not about the amount of $$$ spent, more of how well you know your car.

Will be settled tomorrow.

This is going to be heaps of fun. So its just a test and tune style event?

As for the 110mph rule. I can run as slow as 13 sec and still get 120mph, just wont have a harness in time sad.gif

I'm keen for some heads up Grudge matches against anything smile.gif

yeah mate its the virgin outing at a real strip.i saw a couple at jambo with the same tyres and less power run 122mph and low 12s.

i am hopin for a 11 something and if i can get grip on 20psi i would think 125mph ish.but should be 120mph minimum.in thery with my power/weight it should be hi 120mph/maybe 130mph.we just have to see.

haha well there u go , theres no way my FWD machine will win against that , typically i can beat 113mph approx rwd cars

angels666
Post #519

Somebody asked me if running a convertible without the roof was ok ... I've asked Willowbank and yes its ok as long as you run slower than 12.99 or it will need a roll cage.

I can't for the life of me remember who asked me this sad.gif Sorry ...

angels666

Just need a harness now

vk_of_death
Post #522

so do you have to bolt something to your car to fit a harness cause i wouldnt mind keeping my monaro interior standard but i think the v8 turbo will run over 110mph

LOW_CAL
Post #523

just remove what ever it takes to get the harness in there thats what im doing
