I have used my armorall type product on my skirts and door moulds.

I understand that the paint will not stick to them as well as it would if i degrase them.

So what is the best method of degreasing? Do i just wash them with somthinmg like washing up liquid and warm water? just wash it all down

Use some degreaser and then wash it with morning fresh.

Possibly sand it back a tiny bit, Prime it up and then spray away. Make sure you do alot of thin coats rather then a small amount of heavy coats.

pretty sure an acohol base cleaning product would work best.

Give them a light sand, get some wax and grease remover onto them. Get as much shit off as you can, prime and then spray.

ive done this. all i had to do was clean with clean spirit (thats 90% alcohol to you, thats the ONLY reason i make it), and get abrasive pad (well, i used steel wool and then fine grit sand paper) and took to it with the compressor, got all the dust off. worked fine

Do not sand plastic ohmy.gif Unless you like scratches everywhere rolleyes.gif

Get some quality wax and greese remover. Use alot, many times to get rid of armorall otherwise you will get a spotty finish rant2.gif

when sanding, use Scotch Brite...

or, go to a local car paint speicalist and buy the propper plastic cleaner... otherwise, it will 'crow feet' and crack!!!
