Hey all, i was recently changing the spark plugs in my falcon. All of them go in well, except for the last one does not want to screw in. The plugs are the correct type, and size for the car. None of the previous plug has broken off either, so i am guessing the socket/thread may have some minor damage? I spent over an hour trying to work it out as I need to get the last plug in. Has anyone else had this problem, if so any help at all would be great

Thanks, Sam smile.gif

take out one of the plugs that went in ok and try it in the suss cylinder,
if it goes in fine, buy a new plug, if it dosnet get a torch and have a look at the thread and look for damage,

you may need to get it tapped out.

Yep, thread is pretty rooted and worn, are there any auto stores that sell re-thread piece kits? or would i have to get it done?

need a thread tap to re-tap the thread. But you wouldnt want the filling falling into the cyl. Trade Tools or glenfords will stock them! Goodluck
