Connecting To Wireless Networks

Go into your Control Panel and then Network Connections then open your Wireless Network Connections. It should show all the networks that are in range, the reason why you can't connect to the network next door is probably because the wireless isn't strong enough to be reached from your house unless you've connected to it before in the past or something like that.

Hmm ok, I'll try it again at uni this afternoon, it's got wireless spots everywhere. For the record other people have managed to access the net on wireless here at the far side, but it's low signal. Full signal at the near side.

The wireless on my laptop wasn't turned on head_wall.gif I didn't know what the switch was on the front so I never touched it. Oh well, problem solved and I feel incredibly stupid now bowrofl.gif
