I'd sue. Man that's a terrible job. As for the 800 ks ... I'm pretty sure if you had a lawyer talk to them about that ... they'd be paying you ... to shut up. |

No way would i be paying for that - i had a dummy spit over $300 and a certin sparky that doesn't know his ass from his 1/4" socket - Cut a long story short i said if the tacho your putting in reads only half the RPM i know why - call me... He proceded to spend the whole day trying to get it to read the correct RPM instead of only half then had the fucking nerve to try and charge me for a full days labor... |

I know which shop it was. To be honest, all my friends that have gone there...have gotten shit results. My mate's lancer was there for three weeks and didn't get touched. Another friend took her Corolla back to standard cos it was better than what was done. |

QUOTE(Rookie ROX @ Aug 5 2006, 10:25 AM) Yes that is correct - but you have to prove that truth. As I said before, the job could have been done by an apprentice, and it could be the only time a bad piece of work has ever come out of that workshop. You as the defendant has to prove that it isn't the case, and that what you said about them was the truth. Seeing as your 'experienced' in the matter, you should know first hand just how hard it is to prove and justify all your claims. And until you can do that, publishing the name is a no no. That and it's basically a condition on these forums that you don't post defamatory material. Most, if not all threads that claim a business dodgy will either have the name removed, and/or thread locked. ROCK ON R~R apprentice or not they are the company putting the work out.. its their job to ensure that their apprentices are up to scratch and can do the work in question to a satisfactopry standard.. I mean if they paid their grandma to do the work they would still be held liable, as they have authorised the work to be done by that person... |

I was not asking for the company name as I already know who did the work in question, I was simply just stating that no matter who did the work under the companys name, its their responsibility to make sure it is of a satisfactory standard even if it is just for the reputation of their business |

This is NOT the case, just so everyone knows. Thats correct. This is NOT the work of Precise Trimming. If you are unsure of who did this, please dont spread rhumors, just pm me, no-one else. ![]() Find out for yourself, not on the grapevine. |

im not saying to name it either, but whats the difference between pm'ing someone about it or posting it, either way everyone will find out who this SHITHOUSE trimmer is regardless of where they found out... if its 100% true of the place that did it, they deserve to be named.... when ur in business its for providing goods and services to others... what the hell was that!!!! as a busines man myself, you should have the upmost control on your products and services, and something like that should have been picked up on the 1st stupid mistake and that person in my opinion deserves to lose everything they own for RIPPING people off!!! |

So if FFEEkY had posted up saying that he just got his trimming job done and he was really happy with the job that "business name here" did, and showed pictures and everyone could clearly see it was absolute shit that would be ok? |
