hey stupid question but how many kw to a hp

and like wise how many hp to a kw? i used to have the ratio saved in my old phone but it went through the wash? tongue.gif

1 KW= 1.341022hp and 1 hp= 0.7457kw if u wanna get technical lol. thumbsup.gif

PS = Pferdestärke (german) also said as PowerStroke (english)
It is metric horsepower - you may have seen "PS" power figures if you've ever watched Japanese "best motoring" or "video option" shows.

So how do you convert it?

Well...
1ps = 0.74kw
1ps = 0.99hp

Likewise
1kw = 1.36ps
1hp = 1.01ps

alot of sites use different measurements but i keep it simple with these two and if found to be most accurate when i dynoed my car

1KW = 1.343hp

also anothber good one to know is

1.6kmh = 1mph
