As everyone knows level 3 restrictions means washing your car with buckets only..Just wondering if any of you guys regularly go to any car washes, and could recommend any? Cheers.

I still do it in the yard with the trusty bucket. If it's quite dirty/dusty, I occassionally sneak the hose out and hide it in amongst the garden. I once tried using a watering can to dampen the car to loosen the dirt, did jack all. Emptied two full can loads and it was repelled by the dust. |

If i'm in a hurry I'll use carlovers on stafford road, but you'll get a much better result if you get some concentrate, a plastic bucket and a sponge and do it yourself. You don't need the hose for anything, although I always try and stealth-use it to rinse the suds off, you use LESS water that way, frickin' bureaucracies I tell ya. |

QUOTE(dallasg @ Aug 4 2006, 06:59 PM) aw i go down to the servo on creek road near pizza hut at carina its one of the drive thru ones 10 bucks and does a good job dont have to do anything cept sit there Is that the one at 711? I live close to that and see it all the time, but i question putting my car through it... it looks really dodgy. I still wash my car in my driveway every now and then... Yes, I'm naughty, I know. Other than that, i go to car lovers. Spot free rinse for the win! I love that stuff! I actually was sad enough one day to sit there and watch my car dry... It's amazing. lol |
