Hey man,

Your shots are looking fkn nice, great pp and damn crisp.

I'm probs overdue for a full CC though so here goes

#1 - nice colors, good contrast etc. Only prob is in the comp, it should be more central with the edge of the shot being the same as the edge of the sway bar(?). It just looks a little weird with the left side cut off.

#2 - Cant fault it - great angle, great colors, excellent comp etc.

#3 - Cool shot - not sure what the pink is from, looks a little weird though - no doubt an annoying reflection. Only real crit is in the pp, the sharpneing combined with the shallow DOF and the high contrast really make the front end look fake almost like CGI. It is as very 'real' shot and you take away that theme when you make it look fake. That said - it's just my (possibly retarded) opinion.

#4 - Very nice panning, WB looks a little cool though and I'm unsuse about the central comp, maybe a little wider would look good as you could have it more room at the front of the car. I'm just being picky though, I know it's hard to think about all that when ur shooting a car moving at well over 100km/h.

#5 - Same as #4

Anyway, that's me being picky. They are brilliant shots, I just thought some nitpcking might help.

Thanks for the input mate your totally right about the first one i completely missed the fact i cut off the strut brace wasn't looking when cropping. The pink in the second car is because the car is kinda pink and when i increased the contrast the pink came out really strong the editing is too strong i agree and does look fake was hoping to get critique on the picture i've been trying different editing as of late.
My panning is too central i know i hate open space i love tight in your face kinda crops but i'm gonna work on being a bit more creative with my pans.

the photos have that awesome sharpness your shots always have brian, but im with harry the first hting i noticed with the engine baby shot was the crop and not being centred. the drift shots are great but definetly lack the interesting angles you used to always have but i know exactly how it is trying to shoot at qr behind the fence and with people every where.

will be good to see more of your motorsport stuff brian, they're always good images

Yeah it looks like you've centered your crop on the intercooler and pod rather than the strut towers.

I think the drift shots are decent but I guess this is where we all differ, some know your better stuff and you've set the bar for them and the others (like me) are just appreciating your recent stuff for what it is, not knowing how high the bar is.

does that make sense?

Well as always thanks for the comments everyone they are definately always appreciated.Well i guess i have had the photography bug a little bit lately so here's some pics from a hillclimb i went to recently i have posted these pics in the event section but thought for people who don't bother going to that section i would post some here. C&C as always .

#1 is just awesome, I know how hard it is panning a car when it's coming at you at that angle. It makes the rex look like a wild animal!

Ditto, I like the porsche in the middle too, for some reason I like wild mid-corner shots showing lift-off or massive suspension movement, makes me feel like I'm kinda there..

yep number one does it for me. i would of voted that for potw due to the technicality of it. tight fast circuit, car coming at you with tress in foreground and you still managed to keep the comp in check and manage a super sharp shot.
