I may also suggest things such as....no 0 - speed limit as fast as possible. Althought it may not be breaking the law...turbo cars at boost accellerating fast often looks as "bad" as someone doing 150 on the highway if you catch my drift.

So maybe like...over cautious driving...like you are taking grandma for a drive on a day that she forgot her vallium. Itll only take one dickhead for the media to go nuts with this.

This is a cruise where we are showing respect for someone who has passed and not only would bad media attention distract from that, but i think those behaving irresponsibly are being highly disrespectful as well.

it WILL take only one driver to spoil such an occasion.

one mess up . and people will pounce.

So if we can sorta keep to what andrew and myself put foward there will be no drama's at all.

According to the first post - $5 for a sticker, available on the day. Proceeds go to CF.

As for the ribbon idea - I understand black is the 'normal' symbolic colour, but it relates moreso to noting a death and would feel/look more like a funeral procession. Isn't the cruise about celebrating the life of a true champ who impacted so many people? Hence the suggestion of blue, it's less morbid, more celebratory and will be more noticeable on a car than black. *shrugs* Food for thought

i never new jason or meet him, it sucks what happened to him my condolence to his family but i will be there on sunday at aspley in the green ss ute. should be a good but sad day for everyone.

Had a meeting with CFQ yesterday morning and have organised some merchandise for the day also. Please note also the following are available:-

Pins- $2
Pens- $3
Key Rings- $4

Have also arranged to pick up some registration forms to become an organ donor, so if you have not already registered, please talk it over with the family and think about the importance of organ donation.
Please be aware that just because it says it on your licence does NOT mean you have registered, you do need to also register.
