First up... it's Sierra. biggrin.gif

I'd go the Sierra myself.. they weigh less than 800kg... WITH the 4wd train and transfer case even.

I have seen a pic of one in Japan that was a complete streeter. Lowered and on normal street rims.... it looked very very tough... myself I'm a fan of the hard tops.

Anyhooo, i was talking to my Suzisport mechanic at Albion as I was considering doing one of these as my project car a little while ago.

I was going to convert it to RWD only and run the 1.6efi Vitara engine with a turbo on that. I'm not sure how easily the CA18 would go in, but I guess that doesn't bother you biggrin.gif Consider having a chat to Lance at Albion... he knows his shiznit.

Can't wait to see it if you get this beast up and running. Suzuki Power!

I think you'll find that it's easier to bolt in a Suzuki turbo 4 pot into a Sierra! The mods arn't that hard, and it's good for wheelstanding, or so I've heard.

from what i could see the ca18 should fit alright.

but i do want to keep the 4x4 modes. now. i know how a east west mount 4x4 box works. but i not sure about the north south mount. does it have a central diff?? something along tho's lines?

well that would be totally sick to do but i dont think the 4x4 mode will work as it will be puttin too much horsies through it (not the strongest thing) but i will talk to mick at my work he races and knows just about everything bout 4bies, hes also got a turbo sierra. i was thinkin bout doin the same sorta thing with a sierra but puttin a rotor in it and just havin it rwd. wouldnt that piss holdenbeater off commin next too him at lights and killin him in a sierra. i would yell suck shit you meibas hair collector
