hey if anyone can help me with this i'd appreciate it, i've got a little suzuki mighty boy that was given to me a couple of days ago and had an idea in mind to do a F6A Turbo conversion on it, i just though before i go through the trouble of doing so, if anyone know of a different engine conversion i could give this beast, i was thinking of the daihatsu CB50 Turbo but im not sure it would fit, if anyone has any ideas ur help would be appreciated cheers thumbsup.gif

depending on time/money/skills

i think fitting a engine from another company would be cool

Honda B16a springs to mind as i can't think of any other small engines at the moment... but give it a think.

My mate did a conversion, he said something about a cappacino engine thats turbo will bolt in

Pretty sure the F6A is the Cuppacino motor, could be wrong but.

I reckon if you wanna put a bigger motor in the G13B would be the way to go, since it's all alloy, therefore light. And is a good base for making power.

B16A is that the honda city turbo motors? The F6A Motors came from the Cappucino and im pretty sure some of the Alto as well but only put out 47kw lol, im not too sure the Swift engine would fit

b16a is the dohc vtec motor out of a vti-r civic

Now I think of it you would want a very small motor. You can lift the block of a mighty boy with one hand and could use the con rods as key rings....

ok...essentially anything along the lines of b16 or g13 isn't gunna fit...
no chance. f6a is a good transplant, although don't let the stock 47kw fool you, thats rather restricted to fall into line with the japanese kei class limits, but, your far better off getting a f6a from a suzuki alto because the capuccino is north south configuration so all the ancillaries will be orientated all wrong, whereas the alto is east west which means manifolds and such will be ok. the conversion isn't "bolt in" you need to have the sub-frame grafted in and lots of other things. Alternatively you could go charade CB70/80, this is a 1 litre twin cam motor from a japanese varient of charade, this is lots more effort to fit, but with 74hp stock it has heaps of potential.

i remeber many years ago there was guy who dropped a mighty boy shell onto a sierra 4wd chassis and put in a 4age smile.gif
