ppl i am jus wondering where a good place to fit a sub in a dual cab dao would be...my mate has told me that he has seen ppl put it where the centre console is..sumhow i think that wud look weird...but yer ne ideas and/or suggestions would help...cheers

rip out ur bak seats or u can try jl 6"subs in tubes n fit them behind back seat

tubes might fit behind the back seat, or there are those 10" or 12" 'flat' subs bought out by pioneer that are only like 12cm deep. (seen this setup in a deo before)

i tryed workin both these behind the back seat of my dually hilux, but still wasnt enough room - hopefully deos are slightly bigger.

i also thought bout takin the back seat out...puttin 2 single seats in the back so i wud have a space in the middle 2 fit a few subs or so

yeah i got a slim line pioneer sub.. there is no way that was gunna fit behind my seat.. they are 4" deep.. but then u gotta add the box to that aswell..i put mine in the middle of my back seat..just mad a box so that it was thin towards the back of the cab and then got wider towards the front seats and then the center colom runs smoth with it... looks nice as.. and still have heaps a sitin room

hey dude i got a hilux but im just going to build a box for 2x10" subs and sit it on the back seat so if i need to take 5 people i can lift it out and 5 people can fit in.
but wat ever u do show pics when ur done

What I'm doing to my Lux Dual Cab is ripping the back seat out and running 2x10inch, 3x12inch and 1x15inch, but I'm also going to be deaf by the age of 25 tongue.gif

i've got two of the 12" flat pioneer subs in my rodeo and they just fit behind the back seat.

i have a pioneer 10" on the floor behind the passenger seat there is plenty of room can still seat 5 people and can be taken out if need be

go to a decent pioneer dealer and ask em to order u in a 8inch pioneer flat sub
Yes they do have them now buts its by order only
on another note ima fitting 2 12inch pioneer flats behind my seats
single cab hilux 96 model i removed the jack mount cos its in the way but ive booked it in at northfield car audio at moorooka for them to build the boxes
all powerd for the new alpin m450 amp running 200wrms into each sub
and a set of focal's int he front doors running at 70wrms

all in all its gonna be fucking loud lux

mmm i was gunna wack couple in my back doors i got my 6 x9s in the front doors of my shitta dual cab and i just wanted a but more music but i dont think ill bother its to shit haha

hey mate i have a 04 dual cab and i have a flat 12" pioneers sub. i got a custom box made so it fits where the middle pasangers feet would go you lose a lil bit of room in the front but im not that tall so it doesnt bother me and you can fit five people in but isnt very comfortable but i can rip out in two seconds i can send a photo when my bro gets back from NZ

that's what I was about to say! there is a range of 'slim line' subs that *could* fit in the back (behind the seat). you'll just have to get a mould made up to make it sit nicely with good sound. Best to goto an audio shop and try a few and see whichs ones fit. It's good in a way as your limited in your choices so to speak.

my mates got 4 tpre r 10's in a box behind back seat all that had to be done was brackets brought forwayd like an inch but works a treat

try the new albine sub made especially for utes. its 4 6" woofers firing at one another in a specially made box. we installed one into a low lux, sounded unreal, good strong bass

Blaupunkt are also now making a customised sub for utes aswell though i havent heard them personally, people have told me that they are alright

so many options in a dually, so much room to work with.

2 buckets in the back would be a mission. so flag that.

my honest opinion is you can put them pretty much anywhere in there, bass in non directional so it wont matter.

the main question is how far do u want to go with it, the styling of the interior that is?

do some resurch about car audio b4 wasting your money on thats concoction. mixing sub sizes like that isnt really reccomended

yeah 1 10 or 12 should be just fine.

not to mention how devoed ur gunna be wen it sounds like shit, cuz all it'll be is distorted bass
