Jasons father Ken was approached in the planning of this cruise and gave his blessing to Clinton and Lisa.

Lee has been contacted since...

I believe we have satisfied asking his family

Everyone who attends will have the opportunity to purchase a sticker (which will look like this: ) for $5 which all proceeds will go towards Cystic Fibrosis.

for those talking about something for the cars...stickers will be forsale - but ribbons are also are very good idea

-black arm bands show a sign of respect...so maybe something black for your cars

yer just about to comment on the milton time, and i think a black ribbon attached to your car somewere (obvious of course) should definantly be involved, i will be doing it anyway,

/\/\/\ Yeah I agree with you Matty. Would be VERY poor on their part if that was going to happen. But as has been said acting like a d*ck wont be tolerated at all on this day. But I think all of us have enough respect to know how to behave oursleves.

I will get either black or blue ribbon for my car too.

Police haven't been notified - as far as we're concerned we're damned if we do and damned if we don't.

Look, I can't predict police movement or involvement in this cruise, However I will be going to Hinze Dam and not the spit (although many are - I might just drop the car off at my house in robina and catch a lift in for the sheer annoyance of potential defects).

To the minitruckers, I'd love to have you here - but really I cannot garuantee anything forwhich I appologise. It is purely your choice if you should wish to come.

Media have been notified and willl be in attendance - so this could work in our favour perhaps.

Basically as long as no ones being silly buggers I can't see why we shouldn't enjoy a great day at the dam.

Stickers are going to be the 'R.I.P. Jason' banner you see on a few peoples signatures - still in the process of being organised.

Well.
Im not saying do it or anything.
although i think it will be seen.

the whole public vision of us as of late is.

Speed.

Disgregard for other motorists.

Ignorance.

Im Saying. we hit up the left lanes on any highway. road etc.

Stay right out of the way and not being of any inconvenience.
No blocking or anything as such. just 100 k's flat.

the cars are noticed.
speeds noticed.
stickers. ribbons and other marks of rememberance and respect.
shown toward jason.

It shows our scene..

Gives it an honourable. Respectable image.

Our Reputation will be on display.

If anyone agree's?

Totally agree with golden holden.

I may also suggest things such as....no 0 - speed limit as fast as possible. Althought it may not be breaking the law...turbo cars at boost accellerating fast often looks as "bad" as someone doing 150 on the highway if you catch my drift.

So maybe like...over cautious driving...like you are taking grandma for a drive on a day that she forgot her vallium. Itll only take one dickhead for the media to go nuts with this.

This is a cruise where we are showing respect for someone who has passed and not only would bad media attention distract from that, but i think those behaving irresponsibly are being highly disrespectful as well.

My 2 cents smile.gif

this is a cruise to show respect not to be a dickhead
