Sep 12, 2005 -- Andi Schwaller repeats his victory from the previous year at Baden Masters.

Swiss team Andi Schwaller won the first event of the season on home ice at the Baden Masters, claiming the first prize of 10,000 sfr. Add another 1200.- plus in skins from the day before and the Baden team takes the early lead in the combined tour ranking.

It was a closely contested battle against the Norwegian team skipped by Fleming Davanger, replacing the injured Pal Trulsen, a game in which both teams saw their advantages nullified by great shot making from the opponents. After a number of lead changes it finally came down to a hit and stay with the last rock from skip Schwaller to take the first prize.

The newly formed Schwaller team with third Andreas Hanni, Second Thomas Lips and lead Damian Grichting showed their potential by going undefeated into the final game. Denmark’s Johnny Frederiksen took third place defeating Germany’s Andi Kapp.
