Hi all, I am in the market for a new car at the moment and I have come down to these 3 choices. I havent driven a Liberty at the moment but will drive one in the next few days. I have test driven an XR6T in auto which went pretty well. My previous cars were a VY SS Ute and VX supercharged V6. Fire away people, help me decide. QUOTE(king of the concrete jungle @ Mar 7 2005, 07:41 PM) VX SS If you buy the other two choices, I will personally come to Sydney, hunt you down and tell Roger the dodger it was you who ruined his life ![]() Now go buy that VX SS ![]() Haha, I dont know Rick! I have already had a VX and its getting hard to find a good one down here, they are all trashed, heaps of Kms, or waaayyyy overpriced. |

QUOTE(joeboss @ Mar 7 2005, 07:41 PM) is his manual? Because I have driven one in manual also and it was a bucket of shit. The diff clunks heaps bad and the gearbox was very, very hard to change gears. If I do go the XR I will not be getting a manual because apprently they all have the diff clunking problem because of the diff ratios I was told. and its a ford |

definatly NOT the b4 if it is the twin turbo version (not 100% sure on my subies) the new 05 liberty GT's are great but the twin turbo version never really performed (only talking from a modification point of view) |

I've also heard a few owner complaints about the twin turbo set ups on the B4. And I don't think you can overlook the good points of an Xr6T. If I was using common sense Id be more inclined to look at something like the ford however if I was more willful I'd be tending more towards the B4 - just love the look of these cars. I think it will really depend on how your drive of the subaru goes though.... |
