Just got home from the cruise, was an extremely well organised and orchestrated event, with the effort put into its organisation overwhelming.

Scavenger hunt and the quiz proved too difficult for us to be the winners, but we had a blast in the process...

Well done to Chic Torque....

Don't mean to sound cynical or anything, but that's a change from what I was expecting. Good on 'em though, that's tops thumbsup.gif

i love chic torque... an this was an awesome cruise... with a really good idea... it was very well done.. but there were a few hiccups.. maybe that was just me.. or the fact all the males i talked to couldnt read instructions?? dunno.gif

there is maybe a few things that i would change.. i was playing passenger/finding person/navigator.. and it was extremely hard tryin to get vs style and justin to listen to me (.. silly boys kept gettin lost ) as well as doing that.. we managed to find our way around pretty well.. and the instructions were pretty spot on .. altho one said u had to turn right when you really had to turn left.. perhaps they were just things to throw us off... ?? and you guys gave us the answer to one of the questions lol..

i dont think i would change many things .. besides.. have better games at the check points.. some reminded me of preschool biggrin.gif (i kno.. it wasnt that long ago) and to perhaps have easier clues.. i was so tired an it was hard to think that much.. other than that pray.gif thumbsup.gif

GOOD WORK SHEREE AND THE REST OF THE CHIC TORQUE GIRLS.. YOU SHOULD BE PROUD OF EACHOTHER... YOU HAVE GROWN INTO A VERY AWESOME CLUB love it

and fidel i dont like ur idea of what i should have worn hsnono.gif

I seriously have to say, this cruise was absolutly awsom. GREAT CRUIZ!, ey i got a complaint.. near the start it said "At the mobil petrol station turn right", to bad it was an ampol servo, and it really tripped me and the driver out. tongue.gif

Was an awsom cruize, should organise anotherone asap, hell i didnt even get bored and usualy u do after a little while.

Gr8 cruiz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it was a MASSIVE event to coordinate - thank you all for your comments - glad to relax again biggrin.gif

glad i warned you all to have an "open mind" - has been a few comments about our cruise not being a cruise so next time we may call it a "chic torque thingamyjig"

the constructive critisism has been taken onboard, i'll keep it in mind should we dare to organise similar cruise again

as for the directions - sorry for the ampol/mobil stuff up (but it did have a street name with it you could have cross referenced) and sorry for the right/left mix up but with the comprehensive 7 pages of directions/questions i think those 2 can be overlooked as the following parts would have keep you on track wink.gif

geez i did everything for the drive except mark toilet stops - what more did you's want? rolleyes.gif lol

it was a great day though - *snaps* for those that did the whole cruise and handed in papers at the end

not sure what happened to the rest of you people? dunno.gif

a BIG THANK YOU to the CTEG's for their effort and the parking boys, friends and family that helped also (if i went through and named everyone we would be here all day and i would probably miss someone)
can't forget the cruisers that made the day what it was - THANK YOU

if anyone has any people photos, like at the start/finish, check points, driving etc can you please post those? i kinda want to push the social thing - the cars are great but we see them all the time wink.gif

Well that was an awsome day, i must say. I was piloting my mates Turbo Calais (with the bogan calais skid rims) so i was having a real good time, Some of the observation questions were a little tricky, and some we just passed too quick wink.gif but it was a great event for the true cruiser/driver.

The chic Torque club have to be congratulated for such a well planned event, and Yay for our showbags!!!!

Hey all, had heaps of fun on my first cruise, very cool idea....caused a bit of a domestic though with me being the passenger/navigator/question-answerer whilst the b/friend was driving and really not paying attention to where I was telling him to go, but all out at the end of the day we both enjoyed it a fair bit. A big hand should go out to Chic Torque for all of the organising, and its good to see the girls organising something (imagine if the boy's had of tried to pull something similar off.....I think we would have all ended up in different places) tongue.gif but yea, awesome day, can't wait to go out again.

Awesome work gurlz!!! Was a well organised, great cruise. Certainly different to the others i have been on. Was a bit crazy trying to spot all the questions on the way, had to go back and look again for some of them, then again some just couldnt be spotted at all...lol

Had a great day though. Would have taken a great deal of planning, so well done Sheree and all the gurlz at Chic Torque, who made this cruise a success. thumbsup.gif biggrin.gif
