in short, no

your bottom end wont be up to the task

there is alot more to it than just bolting it up, ie pullys, computer, your ecu wont handle anything past 0.3 bar before it goes spastic, the injectors wont flow enough fuel, you will need an intercooler.

in the end, better to get a 4agze and use that.

yeah TwinCam16 is right, the 4agze runs an 8.1:1 compression ratio and can therefore handle a fair amount of boost (the gze bottom end can handle up to about 20psi on its stock, semi-forged / coated internals) you will need an intercooler, u will have to change stuff to do with your intake and espicially you will need to change your ecu. from there the list simply goes on. You best bet would be to go and buy a complete 4agze motor, they got for about $2200, im not sure if that includes ecu and wiring loom, that price should include them but im not sure. i got a 4agze ae82 for sale, 4000 pm me if u want pics etc

I can't believe I just heard that from you. Saying you can't boost an atmo engine ohmy.gif . The 16V engines will handle boost fine as long as you've got a computer to run it and injectors that can flow enough fuel.

There's a whole bunch of turbo 4age's running around with close to 200rwhp. I don't see why a supercharger wouldn't work.

Hey i never said you cant boost an atmo engine, i just said you wont stand a hope in hell of boosting an 3 rib 4age block with stock internals.

these things are dam weak!

if say it was the 7 rib (ae92 100kw) then i would say go for it, simply becuase they are identical to a 4agze with the exception of the compresion ratio, all the internals are forged standard.

Yeah, u would probably be better off just buying the 4AGZE to start with. They are pretty damn tough and as mentioned before can hack some pretty serious boost stock. U will probably pay more sticking with the 4AGE
