yes it is illegal, but when painted on the outside, ie: u could do interior plastics in it and u should be alright.

$1000 per litre. plus ALOT of prep work and may not even come out right.

available from Jetspeed, 3290 2966.

have a nice day.

With the amount of work needed to use this chrome paint, youd seriously be better off getting the car chrome plated. Car has to be painted black first, then sit for a week, sanded and buffed completely smooth, absolutely no imperfections, then the chrome is applied with a mini spray gun, let sit for 24hours then coated with a special clear. Not alot of fun in any painters mind lol.

Fair call, but how would you feel being paid 25k to do a job, and having it turn out like utter crap? IMHO its just another fad like harlequin (also shit).

its hardly a fad, seeings how i have only seen 2 cars with it.

the mercedes coupe and the BMW in the U.S.

not many people are into harlequin as there are newer and better effect type paints. $8k for harlequin when u can get paint that comes from 1 can and does the exact same thing except better and works out cheaper.

you got no chance in a chrome paintjob if it's reflective legally, these days you can get nailed for having a reflective bullbar!

if you think about it, cops whinge about big chrome rims and guages and how the reflections distract other drivers

i think they would go kinda crazy if a whole car was shining light into people faces, espeacially with Aussie sun and all...

Yeah, there was a guy on this site advertising resprays for $1500 in any colour. So I'd assume that he would do your car in mirror paint for $1500 seeing as he said ANY colour.

I did this to my space saver spare wheel... looks neato for a rim that cant go over 80km/hr.

I say go the chrome spray paint out of a supercheap can thumbsup.gif

OMG YES. Forget what I said before about the $1500 job that's waaaaaay too expensive. Just get $2 chrome paint from SuperCheat (not a typo).

true, just cars dont insure harlequin/colour changing paint, so i highly doubt ANY insurance company would insure it.
