Yea he paid way to much for the car and what it supposed to put out.

I have heard he is trying to put a 10 pound pully on it I think he should get it running right with the 6pound and sort out that single spinner first but thats just me

i know who owns that new 2dr R31 churbo very very clean car, some one has looked after it and it supposed to go alright.
This is his first REAL car as rear wheel and churbo so I feel a litle bit more time and guidence from the right people he should do alright I think dry.gif

Ellastyle : thats for the support mate we do try our best at drifting but we can only get better

KYOFU: sorry I meant the r31 as his first real car

Yea the ceffy does look better with out the damage but should look very very nice after the kit and a tidy up after the damage is repaired

I also am trying to get my rims made up but they seem to be taking for ever to get done ( deep dish laugh.gif laugh.gif )

2nd off. sorry ellastyle....who are you.where do i know you from?

off topic. some fucked up, gay one-via(s13 with 180 front) pulled out infront off me and attempeted to go faster than me. sounded like a sloppy fart(auto to i think). pissed me right off. if anyone sees this guy(he has a haircut that looks like a penis)...plz give him the fingure for me

Blah take it like a man, a loss is a loss, win is a win, no two ways about it. Plus I'd be careful about sledging on these boards, i think quite a few people on here would know the owner of that onevia.

Time to rip out the block and rebuild I hear... Turbo or Supercharger whats gonna be the go?

Adrnln
Post #53

would rebuilding be cheaper then buying a engine already set up?? that is the question

blownhrd
Post #54

I think personally it would be about the same. You could only improve what you've got by doing what you've got UP BIG TIME

R31gtsr i have seen u around your a bit funny looking but your car is sweet.

ONEiGHTY
Post #57

it depends on what engine. if ur to buy a fully prepped engine say from tomei it would cost a lot more than to rebuild the engine urself. but then said, when u do a rebuild, it depends on what parts and how many parts u replace.

i got a quote of about 4-5g to rebuild the bottom end of my old CA that's forged internals such as rods, pistons, lightened balanced crank and bla bla bla. that's including labour to take it out, send it d/south and all that. the head has jus been rebuilt with all new seals and reground camshaft and all. pretty much look like a brand new head, but the damn CA bottom end had to let go a week later. (SAD) anywayz i opted for the other option of buying an SR half cut and drop it in. a bit of a gamble but it's worked out well so far, so i'm kinda glad too.

but i reckon start off with a turbo engine and work ur way up from there rather than going for an atmo engine and bolt a turbocharger or supercharger on there (i'm referring to the nissan engines anyway, since this is what we are talking about) they are slightly differently designed between the NA and the turbo ones.

that's my 2c. hsdance.gif

He hooked up an oil system (for someone I know with a certain black s13) one of the hoses went to nowhere ie. the ground.
Now its time for a full rebuild...

be nice to find out if hi tech is paying for all the repairs they caused, anybody know if hes paying?

Stable
Post #67

Dont know, Ill ask his girlfriend next time I see her.

Cops were out in bloody force tonight, they were everywhere. Apparently they were on Tiger Brennan pulling people up and down at TDZ.

I think they should just put a bunch of cameras down at tdz and let people hang out there without hassling them. Atleast its a decent compromise. Saves wasting the cops time and we can hang out there. I know lots of people say all the people that go to tdz give everyone a bad name but its not really true, atleast things happen off the main street.

Meh, anyone wanna come cruising with me tomorow night?

ELLA
Post #68

hehe bring the cruise by work, maybe without trying to whore free drinks and stuff from me this time...

PS this is going VERY off topic maybe we had better leave the chit chat for teh spammmers thread?

heyguys i have been told about my black s13 being on this page for a while thought i would check it out.Now lets get some things straight. Yes it did start out as a na ca18de The guy that owned it forged the whole engine bored cylinders oversized pistons,Hardened valves valve springs and seats i had a couple of prob now some are sorted yes oil catch can hoses going fuck knows where did run low on oil and is almost time for a rebuild, and no HI TECH is not paying for it because there is supposedly no warranty givin with after market parts funny how he put my charger pully on wrong and spun a belt on Mcmillans road however daniel in the EXA fixed my bracket and did a nice job to thanks dude if you read this. I am not talkin shit bout the boost it was on 5psi droppin to around 3psi not sure why, now its got a bigger crank pully and was on 9psi paul with the blue s13 also a nice guy ,He helped fix a boost leak on my intercooler piping so it is now hitting 11psi boost going better and yes it can drift i have proved that however can only get better. oh and yeah i did smash the R31 and no he didn't start catching me and 155 on Baggot Rd is fast enough for me but not only that a race is a race.I was happy to beat him and quite impressed with my car that night although i do like the skyline and think with a bit of work he will prob get me next time oh and yeah it ran a 16.2sec quater with a blown gear box and with the big pully it hed 111Kw at the w on daves dyno but that was at only 8/9psi
