The car park that is pretty much behind hungry jacks, it has been used many times before on cruises, and sometimes on the sunny coast ones, im not sure if it was used on the last big one cuz i wasnt there but if we get there on the day and have troubles we can easy move to your location. Just depends on what the people want.

That sounds like a plan vilgrim, are there many people who would be interested in using this as a meeting spot? Can anyone stick their hand up as a cruise leader from this location also?

same as a usual sunny coast cruise, meet at the headland and just decide from there whether people wanna swim and play footy or go to the carpark.

im not sure how many people on boost would like to make this a meeting spot,
but the members of the club im in always meet there, so everyone wishing to cruise with us is welcome to meet up there

Update: It has been brought to my attention that some peopel who are not able to make the cruise still wish to donate to the Intensive Care Unit, i have added details of how to do this via wire transfer on the front page. They are also listed below.

Hey Jimbo i might try and get there, but its my 18th birthday the day before so i might be quite hungover. So i probably wont be able to drive, ill try to get there though. I might have my new car by then so i may be tempted even more.

Just recieved the sticker design for the cruise, it is the existing Boost logo with Intensive Care Cruise below it, reason being it would be pointless for people to buy a sticker and then rip it off the next day or something, with this people are getting a boost sticker and a little something extra tongue.gif

LONG time no chat!! As Lukey is a very dear boy to me & has been for a number of years, I will be there with bells on.

Congrats on getting Lyndal from Quest involved - just a suggestion, have you tried Skinny's or Rocking Horse?? I mean what else do we do when cruising? Listen to music...!!!

I have contacts at Skinny's, I will gladly have a chat if you wish.

I will be trailing behind in my little slow mirage, but hey! I'm there for support - so if there is ANYONE out there that doesn't think their car is "good" enough... It's the THOUGHT that counts - get off your butts and come along.

Please note the location for the bbq has been made the Spit - Boat Trailer carpark. There are defnintely bbq facilities there, but i shal take along my own bbq just incase. thumbsup.gif

There is around 70 names, but from some PM's i have recieved a few people are bringing along car clubs and other friends have notified me in person that they will come so all in all i am hoping for around 130 - 150 people by the time is rolls around thumbsup.gif hsdance.gif

i say we have metting spots kinda like what happen for the charity cruise
cos maccas aint gonna be big enough
Ipswich could be at The Redbank Plaza carpark heaps of space
only thing we cant wait around for ages dont wanna cause to much trouble

yer i was thinkin that too, how about this, the aspley maccas meeting spot will be moved across the road to the hypermarket, there is plenty of space there for numerous cars. Pulsar vector or anybody, can you please message me with details about Redbank plaza as i am unfarmiliar with the area. Thanx guys

I believe there are a few people wanting to come from the gold coast yes, can you suggest a good meeting spot? Would be happy to add it into the day so long as we can get a leader from this location and a decent spot.
