Why would you be unhappy with the police being there? As long as you act responsibly and your car is roadworthy (which, of course it would be since you drive it on the road) you've got nothing to worry about.

Remember, this is to help those kids in need and to project a good image for the car enthusiast in Darwin!!! You can enjoy yourself in your car, and still remain in the bounds of the law....

Re: about what toys to buy - in the end it doesn't really matter, as long as you are happy with what you give. Why not buy one of each? And, don't forget, the Salvos are more than happy to recieve food as well!

anybody seen the line up of motorcycles today for that charity run ? wow it was huge lead by a XR6 cop car and the end the line was a police motorcycle following.....If our cruise is like that it will be awsome biggrin.gif

I have confirmed a few other cars to come to the cruise day will try and get names later on

Ellastyle : I found out this morning that he didn't even have a licence but hopefully I will still be able to get some money from him, The hardest part is trying to get the same style tail lights.

The Bike charity was pretty cool I saw it coming home from work the other day. A few km of bikes going by was a great sight

Just thinking fella's... If we get a lot of cars (as in 30+ which has happened before) we should always leave a lane free so that people can over take us.

Well the pre cruise was good. Was nice to put names to faces and such.

Hopefully see you all at the crhismas cruise on the 19th.

It will be funny giving away a present for charity on my birthday (the 19th).

So the other half went on the pre cruise with you guys yesterday, and told me that the guys from the HEAT are trying to "take over" this cruise? Are you happy or angry about this?? ALso I can try and find out more if you want. I know a guy here who works on "the heat" .... i can ask him about it.......

Why do they always take credit for shit that has nothing to do with them.... HONESTLY......

Nah, they are not trying to take over!... just suggesting ideas... we have changed the cruise course and schedule to accomadate 'the heat'... and we'll let him take pole pos. on the drive...but that's the most i am willing to do for them...

It's a good chance at promotion, i am suprised not more companies or people have tried to get more involved!

I think 'the Heat' browses this forum too, and i am in contact with one of his mates... so it's all good hsdance.gif

Everyone is overly excited about the cruise, should be awesome! thumbsup.gif

Something like...

"Tram (Barramundi Bay)

Up hill, Left at Tiger Brennan

Through to Mitchell and then left past Parliament House

Right along Esplanade

Right onto Daly Street

Left onto Mitchell

Right down past Casino

Follow along through Fanny Bay, Dick Ward Dr to Nightclliff Rd

Left onto Nightcliff Rd and follow foreshore back to Rapid Creek rd

Left onto Trower Rd through to Vanderlin Dr

Right at Vanderlin Drive out front of Caruarina Sq

Along Vanderlin Dr to McMillans Rd

Left at McMillans Rd to Stuart Hwy

Along Hwy to Palmerston

Right a Temple Tce to the salvos...

We will do this in one go, because 'the heat' can't legally stop... after the donations we will cruise back to Cas beach for a BBq and show, and then cruise on from there for who ever is left! hsdance.gif

Sunday 19th December, 6:30pm for free sausage sizzle and 7pm for carols.

I am decorating the Ford, tincle around the rear spoiler and maybe have it crossing over the roof and being held in place by the windows.
