hey
a while ago i posted a topic same sorta thing about pics in sigs
and apparently we arent allowed to have them
but recently ive been seeing people with them
so mods are we allowed now if it is ok'd with u and how would u upload if from ur comp
i only know [IMG] url blah blah blah
so if yes can someone inform me on how to do it

You just have to upload them to some webspace somewhere then put the address of the pic in as follows.

[img]http://www.mywebspace.com/mysigpic.extension[_img]

You just have to replace _ with a /

To add it into your signature goto My Control(at the top of the page) > Edit Signature (on the left hand side of the new page) and then put whatever you want in the box in there thumbsup.gif

same as above but just put it with the msg your writing. Also if you click the ADD REPLY below where normal msg box is it has a box above where u type the msg thats says IMG and u click that and just put in the url.

yeh i've always had mine in my sig but previously it hasn't been coming until lately. go upload a pic to imageshack.co i think thats the website and it give u the deatils. copy n paste it into ur sig

Pictures.. to an extent are now allowed in signatures.
please note that any illicit content will not only be deleted, but your account suspended.

also, users can now turn off viewing signatures via the "My Controls" i think.

upload ur shit to a site - 50megs.com or whatever. iprimus or a payed host is better coz they allow remote linking (where the picture shows up in the boostcruising forum as opposed to having to click on a link to a separate page(if you try and put image tags around a url that goes to a picture on a host that doesnt support remote linking you'll jst get the hosts icon))

then go to the forum and place these tags in
for image to be viewed in the forum:
[img ]image1.jpg[/img ]

for separate page (and if it doesnt support remote linking)
[url ]image1.jpg[/url ]

remember that i placed a space before the closing bracket of each tag for display purposes - delete the space when you do it for real.

takes up too much space and creates slower loadups , pages are unessisarly wrong 0- take the "other"site as a perfect example

I think there should be height n width restrictions on the sigs...just a suggestion coz i think doyle's is a bit too big aswell...something like the size of ni_slo's is a good size...
