it better not rain dammit this is the first i have been able to get to for ages!!!

Anyone going? I hope theres a fair turnout, guess it depends on the weather too. If your going give us a howde if you see me.

I doubt that would work... Wish it did. Hate helmets, probably wouldn't fit my head in the car.

A little off topic, I was taking heaps of crap to the tip, and I was dumping all my stuff, I saw a helmet just chillen near where I was standing. It had all this weird dodgy crap painted on it, so I grabbed it, brang it home and cleaned it up with some thinners. Inside is in near perfect condition, So I scored myself a free helmet for willowbank day

Ni_Slo what a score!!!! The helmet I am using was the one my mum used when she used to race back at the surfers track. wink.gif

There tonight because I am always there. Not sure where I am working tonight, hopefully in the tower otherwise it is too cold.

U can get helmets cheap through second hand shops and maybe even cashies. But anyway, you have a celica, its not like it goes fast enough to need a helmet (jk haha, i have a celica too). If u aint racing tonight give us a holla, we can talk... helmets :/

Yeh, i hate helmets. I don't see the point wearing it at willowbank since my car probably wont even reach the speeds i get up to on the highway (110km/h that is). And being a 185cm asian, i dont' fit in the car with a helmet so well. I think i'll be there tonight. Look for a tall asian bastard. Theres usually only one. tongue.gif

Just wondering guys how much is your head worth.Helmets are reasonably cheap.Maybe the one from the dump had been involved in some sort of an accident and is the reason it was thrown out.Just a word of warning thinners doesn't do the helmet to many favours neither.

hmmm, I used to think that wearing helmets was a bit of a waste, but considering this is a race track, rules must be abided for safteys sake (and plus I dont think the track insurance company would like it too much) but also, can you imagine comming up against someone like Grant Dixon 8sec rotary (only saying his name cuz he has been out testing heaps) and something happens to his car, he comes into your lane and wipes out your car and you dont have a helmet on.... Just remember that tongue.gif sorry to scare anyone ohmy.gif biggrin.gif

yer it is a little green thing, I thought it was a corolla. It is one the Mazfix cars.... It was awesome and only getting better! Hey, on Staurday night I got into the top 10 of Powderfuff!!!! Now I can race the Shootout facesjump.gif


And dont be too sure about him being behind you, Ihave a photo somewhere of GRUMP2behind me (admittadly it is at the 60ft mark and he was winding the boost up, but still biggrin.gif )

LOL, I saw that WRX. I dont mind the wagons! I was in the slow bracket too in my bblack hi-lux. In the slow bracket I got knocked out 1st round sad.gif How did you go?

I sat there watching. Didn't race. Still no helmet. The two celicas parked outside. Gonna go later to find one though. Hopefully tonight i'll be racing. Anyone wanna show me around and give me some tips. Never raced legally in my life (doesn't mean i race illegally either rolleyes.gif ) I didn't see the black hi-lux go. Was it raised and with a bunch of ppl sitting at the back. Or is that another one.

And yeh. the rex and supra was slow. the supra was alright cuz it was na turbo. But rex should have done alot better. At least they got style thumbsup.gif

Nah, my lux is the exact opposite to the big one, mine is kinda low and is a trayback. Runs 17's! But I can do skids biggrin.gif

Advice for tonight, leave as you see the last amber come on to get a better eaction time. DONT stage at the christmas tree and DEFINATLY DO NOT stage with your rear wheels, well you can if you want us officials in the tower to have a giggle.

Edit: Alright, no racing tonight. No time to get a helmet. Gotta drive down to coolangatta airport for some reason. But will be there to watch. Look out for me. Good luck for all who's racing

a few of my mates were goin not sure if they did?? did any see a black syl80 wit a big trackside sticker up the side? and a stock lookin red s14!?

i saw the black syl80 but i was the only 200 there. a few commos pulling alright times. altho i may have missed a few ppl cause i didnt get there until 7.30
