Make sure to post up pics once you've stacked it with your fulli sik drifting skillz~ I think its a great choice to change the colour to purple because we all know it affects the amount of sick skids and dorifitos that a car can pull off. As a side note you might want to invest in a box of drift monkey stickers in advance.

ohhh ya just cant win these days, but then i guess thats what trends are about. personally i kinda agree with u hear - ppl taking drift too far. if i was hardcore bout it id buy a gemini or sigma, put some king springs on there and hang that out to start with. top choice on the car though. best budget car for drift from what i hear biggrin.gif

Dattos are mad drifters, z18, L18 or L20 and some stiff springs and swaybars

One of the first things I could recommend is learning where the CAPS LOCK key is hidden.

Put a "Fujiwara Tofu Shop" sticker written in Kanji on the side tongue.gif biggrin.gif

True to both of these quotes!!!

Chuck sigma front lower control arms on it, they bolt straight on and offer alot more negative camber than the standard ones

Urethane suspension bushes EVERYWHERE is a great start if they are old.

Don't make it too low unless you change the rear suspension pick-up points and you'll want an adjustable panhard rod (or whatever it's called on a sprinter). If it's from Japan and already has a 4AGZE it probably has all this stuff.
Careful with the gearbox, there isn't too many about and they break with that much torque.
You shouldn't need anymore power than that motor has in that car.
If you want more power than you'd best get a more powerful car from the start.

And if you want more boost you change the pulley on the harmonic balancer/crankshaft of the engine not the one on the Supercharger. Unless you've already got the biggest pulley you can fit on the crank. But anyway..............................

Sprinters are cool learners cars, well I'd think so since I learnt to drive on one tongue.gif

Good choice of car BTW.

They are simply a pleasure to drive fast or slow. thumbsup.gif

Nto the easiest to drift though, a bit short on the wheelbase and jumpy at the rear.

(ohhh.......an LSD from CUSCO is a good choice too but expensive)

gooo the ae86's biggrin.gif my sr20 engine arrives for mine on friday yay. u could go a twin charger kit if u wanted some mean hp's but there hard to find these days. u can get a whole hks turbo kit for 4ag these days for around 1500 or so landed. if your going NA tune i would go: high comp pistons, trd cams probably 282degree and go the quad carbies biggrin.gif this is a nice 200ps spec engine. there's so many combinations with the 4ag engines and i must say there a dam good engine at that. u might ask y i'm changing then? cause they have there limits and are very expensive to get good hp out of Na 4ag sad.gif so yer i would stick with the 4agze and change to turbo. any ways good luck with ya project thumbsup.gif

try sumthing different.. and put an sr20det between the strut towers.

i think she wonts her car to turn, so an SR would not be the way, cos its too big and would sit way to far forward, hence turning response, reaction and the rest suffers, if ur goin that way, drop a CA int here, but i reakon just go a 20v, they work sic...

4agze is plenty of power to learn to drift in, a weird thing with 86's tho, wen u lower them, the diff and axle drops down and to the left (if ur lookin from the back) so if the panhard rod (i think its that one) isnt an adjustable one? then one wheel will sit flush with the guardon one side and one will sit bout 50mm in from the guard on the other side, other then that, i would say they make a good learning drift car, i havent drifted one but ive driven a mates one, and it has rock hard suspension, and it jsut wonted to kick out, i liked it... tongue.gif
