Only bad thing about that place is the smell that you get from the creek that runs through under the bridge. I've seen a few little meets down there before though... like 2am but!

So true, if only we could get permission to use it from management, but then that would probably come to end pretty quickly when some idiot decides to spoil it and do a burnout.

There's 2 entrance to that park at carindale... but the only dissadvantage is that the secruity petrol goes ther heaps... and for the wrecker rd one... i've seen cops go along there on wrecker rd heaps... the only place i can suggest is fisherman island... they've fixed the car park where there's a boat ramp.. there's heaps of light... one dissadvantage is that there's a water rate police station next door. but as long as we're not harming the water of sea life i guess it's ok... what do you think?? unsure.gif

Yeah went down there with Amokk the other night for a random drive, that boat ramp is nice , big carpark too. But its too out of the way from anything and its not close to any main roads for us to go somewhere else, only 1 way in. Also i think we'd piss alot of the trucks off at night.

But i seriously would consider McDonalds at Cannon Hill, the carpark is the same size as any regular maccas, and if u cant find a park u can park ur car on the street (which is in an industrial area).

Or Bunnings at cannon hill aswell, bunnings and all the others shops are open till lateish on a thurs night, so i dont think we would have that much of a hassle from the cops...but i guess it would only take time..also u might get other randoms using the shops. but its a huge carpark...

Yeah That Maccas at Cannon Hill sounds like a pretty good Idea, seeing though there is plenty of parking in the estate surrounding, and Bunnings could be goer as well should giv them a go this Thursday and c how it goes

yer Cannon Hill maccas is awesome, lowaz cars can just park in the side street and its pretty simple to get to the city from there... but bring back the thursday nights of springwood subway yer yer!

the empty carpark at carindale would be the perfect spot.
i have been going there with a number of cars a few times and we have never been hassled yet.
its large and in the middle of nowhere really.
but im sure if we have 50+ cars rock up it will certainly stir up some local constabulary.
but it is a good idea.


whatever happened to sunnybank maccas ?? springwood maccas ???

u all seem to be forgetting that bunnings is open till 9pm each night, they'l tell us to fuck off.

what about maccas at loganholme, acress the hi-way from the hyperdome, next to the "thai Inn", it has a big car park and is kit friendly.

or what about the "new" industrial estate at loganholme, out the back of the BP halfway between the hyperdome and beenleigh. No speed bumps, and is lit ok.

victoria point would be good cause:

it has no speed bumps, has food (dominoes, eagle boyz, red rooter, HJ and Mc D), lighting and can fit a good 200 cars in. Plus it has a tavern biggrin.gif Also, u can get to the coast pretty easy from there. Just have to follow two long roads. Has 3 servo's within 1 or 2 mins.

cons:
not really central to anything, only about 15mins from capalaba.
