Looks very factory fitted too, but I doubt any factory would fit the uhm "interesting" extractor designs to a car tongue.gif

yeh, you would think that being a forum with imports/turbos, etc. people would welcome technology. and when it comes down to what basic engine design is better for engine performance (mostly due to the balancing of a v8 compared to a straight 4/6) the v8 is the best choice. Formula 1s use v10s remember, they must be stupid.
good on the guy for thinkin unlike everyone else smile.gif

You do know, that partially due to the design of the engine, and the firing order, that the inline 6 is the most free reving evenly balanced engine design currently in use (boxer engines aside)?

ummmmmm actually is 5 cylinders that is most balanced

No it's not. Prove how 5 cylinders are more balanced and ill tell you why you are wrong. With a straight 6, simply because opposite pistons are both at TDC at the same time, it evens out harmonic resonance creating less vibration. There is more to it, but i dont just post threads on here without actually being relevent.

that is f@cked, now it makes me look like a complete idiot. i read that bmw made 5 cylinder engines cos they were perfectly balanced, i should have known better... 6 and v12 are perfect balanced, as are all boxer engines... my bikkie, sorry
