Yeah personal opinion... Not saying that 1.8 is slow, VKs are slower. But mine is a grand old beast and I get alot of pleasure making it look original than making look like a muton dressed as lamb. You want a fast car? Buy one.... you want a first car? My recomendation is buying an old commodore off an old person. Made sense to me.

Yeah 1.8 NA Autos are but!!! If you can get the same as my old one (CA18DET 5 Speed) then snap it up!!

Just any reliable car would be the go for a first one i reckon!!

r32 for under 5k... nah i love the old supras but 7M power, dont see many of em down here(melbourne) so they r quite the sleeper if u got the 3litre turbo can beat most vl-t's with the same mods... (waits for vl flameage)
