Basically whats best bang for buck. I already have an RB20DET, so working that, internals, turbo, cooler, computer??? etc. Or go for the RB30E block, and RB25DE non VVTI heads, find a suited turbo, etc, and somehow wack that in to the cefiro. Basically, whats the best option. I like torque, but I also like revs. Do not say RB25, or RB26, as I really dont want either of those, as the cost will blow out a fair bit. -------------------- 'team shitbox racing' *www.teamshitbox.org*

From what ive heard, you dont get that much power by putting on the twin cam head onto the rb30!!! |

talk to avalonea about the rb25/30 hybrid... hes had experience putting one together.. he might be able to give you some valuable info.. and for the record a rb30det (as u call them) has far more power than the rb30et on the same bewst. something like 30kw from memory.... ? |

Putting the RB20 head on the RB30 block is a HELLA lot harder than the RB25DE head. Basically I want to know bang for buck. Its not so much about power, but about speed. I've heard of ppl putting 2jz in, and then taking them out and going back to the 1g, because it was actually faster. |

RB20 head is just silly to put on a RB30 block cos it wont flow enough for the extra capacity |
